SAVE RYE HARBOR MARINE FACILITY – PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION

Rye Harbor is under immediate threat. The historic shacks and related businesses are in jeopardy of elimination.

Rye Harbor is a perfect example of a working harbor where marine activities abound, an irreplaceable gem on the New Hampshire Seacoast.

Pease Development Authority (PDA) manages New Hampshire’s Ports and Harbors, including Rye Harbor. PDA is an entity created to attract and develop businesses on the former Pease Air Force Base site; however, it appears that PDA has now taken over making all decisions for Rye Harbor.

PDA’s currently proposed plan is to construct a new building in the parking lot across from the existing shacks, taking away valuable parking and boat storage, and to remove all of the shacks currently owned by harbor businesses.

Yay, Doxy Lobster (they catch their own lobster out of Rye Harbor) is now selling at Exeter Farmer's Market on Thursdays and Vouchers for Veterans which I believe is in Somersorth on Tuesdays.

Today was the first day at Exeter Farmers' Market.
We will be back next Thursday 2:30pm -6:00pm. You can also find us at Vouchers for Veterans for the September Harvest Market on Tuesdays for the month of September from 11:30am-2:30pm

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our dear friend and beloved member of the Rimrack Fish family, Brian Flood.

It was a true honor to have Brian in our lives, and a great privilege to work along side of him for several fishing seasons after his return from valiantly serving his country in Iraq.

Brian was an exceptional worker at sea; as tough, strong and dedicated as they come. Paired with that strength, was the most kind, loyal, and loving heart. He loved the ocean and fishing. We will carry and celebrate his spirit in our hearts and at sea.

We extend our deepest condolences, unwavering support, and heartfelt sympathies to Brian's family and friends during this time.
