We have pepper plants for sale.
Ben will be available at the farm from 10:30-3:00 today, Sunday May 24th to help with purchasing pepper plants.
Sweet pepper plant: Amish sweet, Yellow monster, Ozark giant, Etudia orange, Leysa, Purple beauty and Ajvarski.
Hot peppers plants: Purple and red Cayenne, Lemon drop, brown and large green Jalapeño, Pablano, Paprika

Asparagus ($4 lb) and spring walking onions ($1 bunch) are available on the stand. Rhubarb will be available Saturday afternoon and Sunday by request. To reduce waste we will pick Rhubarb when requested for $4lb.

As always the stand is self serve with an honesty box.

We will be at the Freeport Illinois Farmers Market Saturday 7-11am.
Grace has dried flower bouquets, dried flower Crafts, some flower and herb plants, and alpine strawberry plants for sale.

We have asparagus available on the stand $4 lb.It is finally starting to come come in fast and heavy. We are hoping by the end of the week it will be heavy enough to have available daily. We should have some available at least every other day this week.

We will be at the Freeport Illinois Farmers Market tomorrow 7-11am. We will have rhubarb, fresh lilac bouquets, dried flower bouquets, resin flower jewelry, and miniature cards with dried flowers just in time for Mothers Day!

It’s almost time! The Freeport, Illinois Farmers’ Market starts Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 7 AM to 11 AM in the parking lot across from Aldi’s.
There will be gift items for Mom (don’t forget Mother’s Day on Sunday) , baked treats, plants for your garden and other goodies. Rumor has it, there may even be a vendor with tamales for sale.!?
Our vendors look forward to connecting with old friends and making new friends. We hope to see you there!

We have been busy getting ready for our 2026 vegtable season. We have tomatoes, peppers, watermelon, okra, eggplant and more plants off to a great start.
Ben has been busy grafting apple trees. He is growing Korean and Japanese maples. He has many native maple and oak trees started.

We are in search of native black willow tree and native prairie willow we can get some cuttings from. Please share to get the word out.
If you have some available please call or pm.

We will post as soon as asparagus is ready for the season. We are looking forward to seeing all the familiar faces this year and meeting new ones!
