From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU to everyone who came to the Grand Opening of Mikacape! ❤️
I honestly don’t have enough words to express how grateful and overwhelmed I felt seeing so many people come out to support me. We were packed, 30 mins before closing at 7pm, people were still coming through the door! Seeing so many familiar faces, friends, neighbors, customers, and new faces enjoying our Filipino food made the day so special and unforgettable for me.
We were so busy welcoming and serving everyone that we didn’t get to take many pictures. If you took any photos or videos during the grand opening, I would truly appreciate it if you could send them to me. I would love to keep these special memories. 📸
A very special and heartfelt thank you to Miss Philippines New York, Nath Dela Cueva and Miss Equador for making the 6 hour drive from the Bronx, NYC, just to celebrate this very important moment with me. Your effort to be there means more to me than I can say.
To our dear friends Peter Vazquez & Monroe County Judge- Kristine Demo-Vazquez, Andy Nahas , Assemblyman Josh Jenson, our Open Door pastors, and, of course, my dear Rosina M Miller - thank you for always being there for me. This grand opening was not just about opening a business. It was about the people who believed in me, encouraged me, showed up for me, and be there for me.
Mikacape is just beginning, and I’m so excited for what lies ahead. I hope Mikacape will always be a place where everyone feels welcome, loved, and at home.
