Steven’s Farm Stand is a small, sustainably grown produce farm located in Rochester and Acushnet, MA. The owner, Steven Rittenhouse, grew up with a passion for agriculture and animal husbandry; a strong family tradition. Steven’s Farm Stand was brought to life by Steven and his grandmother in 2004, selling only farm fresh eggs, but when his grandmother passed away a few years later, he decided to

continue growing the business in her memory. Now only a few months into growing produce using sustainable farming practices, Steven has managed to create not only a profitable farm, but one built on tradition and support from friends and family. With his background in farming and degree in Sustainable Agriculture, he brings you nothing but the finest and freshest vegetables and gourmet greens.

We are loving this landscape fabric for growing our transplants! It’s heavy duty enough to be used over and over. Some of our fabrics are close to 4 years old! We find it better for the environment because we use this instead of the plastic mulch that ends up in landfills after 1 use. Another plus is we only have to do 1 quick weeding by hand when the plants are around this size and then the plants grow big enough to cover the opening and smother any weeds!
