Ela Orchard is a family owned and operated apple orchard located in Rochester, WI. The orchard has been in the Ela family since the 1920s, and is currently run by the third generation. The fourth generation is actively participating in the harvest and maintenance of the orchard as well. Ela Orchard offers over 30 varieties of apples, as well as several varieties of pears. Harvest season begins in
late July and typically extends through October. The apple barn is open from September until the apples are gone which varies from year to year, often running into January. Our fresh apple cider is pressed every week on Wednesday. The recipe of apples is different every week so the flavor changes from August to the end of the season. Enjoy the scenic drive out to the apple barn in Rochester, WI in the fall. The barn is open every day in season from noon until six. Don't forget to feed your apple cores to the goats when you depart!
