We are almost done with the first planting and will be moving on to the second this week! We have seven plantings in total. We should have corn through Labor Day!

JDP SweetCorn is stocked! Stop by and grab some corn for dinner!

You’ll find something else in the stand today-zucchini, cucumber, and grape tomatoes. JDP’s tub garden is starting to produce more than we eat so it’s in the stand for the taking!

It’s time!!!

I guess sweetcorn is kind of like a watched pot…we kept watching and waiting for it to be ready and while JDP was away at the fair showing his pigs, the corn decided it was time!

The stand is open for business!

You know when you’ve been looking forward to something for such a long time and it seems like it takes forever to arrive? Yep, that’s where we are! Our corn is taking its “sweet” time maturing.

The stand is up and we are patiently waiting for the first batch to be ready.
