Nine years ago, I drew my first pet portrait of our first fur baby, Kace. (2nd photo). Who we often referred to as Kacer Bud and Bub. There was something about him. He was special and still holds a huge part of our hearts to this day.

About a year ago, I decided to redo his portrait for Marcus(1st photo). See Kace was his right hand man. When they say “dog is a man’s best friend”, Kace was that.

I am so grateful for that first drawing of Kace despite it not being what I thought was the “best” or the “greatest” at the time. But Marcus, my husband and greatest supporter has always seen the best in me and encouraged me to create and keep going.

And now today, it’s such a blessing to see God’s hand on our story. How the faith of a tiny mustard seed could grow into something like The Piddlin’ Farm.💙
