Happy Friday!

Hot Bar is carne asada chicken thighs, ropa vieja, Southwest style fiesta rice, squash medallions, & cotija potatoes. Soups are beef brisket chili with beans, three bean chili, & turkey chili with beans.

Don’t forget our chili cookout for owners on Sunday 10/25. Starts at 5pm. Free and only for our great co-op owners.

October is Fair Trade Month!

What makes fair trade different? Fair trade is a global movement and system designed to help producers in developing countries achieve sustainable livelihoods, safe working conditions, and equitable trade terms. It connects shoppers with ethical goods—such as coffee, cocoa, tea, and apparel—backed by guaranteed minimum prices and community development funds.

Buying fair trade bananas, chocolate, and coffee at the co-op not only gets you an incredible product but it helps support a sustainable economic system that pays farmers a fair amount for their products.

The August recipient of Change for our Community! !

Our shoppers raised $3,879 to help Habitat build homes in the Roanoke Valley! It's Habitat's 40th Anniversary and they are celebrating with Community Homes. For each $125 raised, Habitat can build 1 sq ft. Our shoppers have helped build 31 sq ft in the next Community Home! Thanks to all who contributed!

If you’re looking for a massive salad for lunch, that’s just $8.99, the co-op has lots of grab n’ go salads. And you can even make your own from scratch with our natural fresh ingredients on the salad bar.

Garlic parmesan chicken breast, beef ragu with pork and tomato w**e sauce, garlic butter linguine, garlic herb squash, chardonnay and sage butter ravioli, & spinach mushroom lasagna.

Hot bar is carne asada chicken thighs, chicken tinga, southwest style fiesta rice, sweet potatoes and black beans, & cheese quesadillas.
