ShapoSavory,LLC. Welcome to ShaPo LLC, where we bring the flavors of Eastern European pastries and cuisine to our community.

Our mission is to share the warmth, hospitality, and rich traditions of our heritage through every bite we serve. Like many families, we have faced our share of challenges - job losses, illness, the loss of loved ones, and the global adversities we've all experienced. These experiences, rather than weakening us, fueled a determination to build something meaningful together. Drawing strength from our diverse backgrounds and rich cultural heritage, we have embarked on this venture, bringing the same resilience and family values that have sustained us to ShaPo LLC. We wanted to introduce our kids to the beauty of European culture, while continuing and expanding our family traditions, and we’re excited to share that with our friends and customers. Eastern European pastries symbolize warmth, connection, and comfort, and that’s exactly what ShaPo is all about - bringing people together. As the legendary Anthony Bourdain once said, “In the end, I think food is about connection - connecting with people, cultures, and the earth.” We believe food is a universal medium that connects us all, transcending boundaries and building relationships. The Pastrami & Cheese Pierogies are BACK!

🔥 But here is the catch: we only made 25 orders total for this weekend, and they are already flying off the shelf.

The drop happens exactly at 8:30 AM, and they will probably not last until 10:30 AM. If you want a bite of that smoky, cheesy perfection, you need to set your alarm right now! ⏰

📍 Where to find us: Look for the big red flag that says European Street Food at the RVA Big Market (we are there from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM)!

We missed the 🌧️ once again this Saturday at the RVA BIG Market. Slow start as patrons feared a ☔️ morning. The visitors rallied mid way through the market. The hachapuri were the first to fly off the skillet followed by our beignets 🍏🥭🍓🍍🍑 and 🥔 piroshki.... A new trend was launched by some of our regulars and we embraced it as well as recommended: ask us to top your pierogi with our wild mushroom & leek blend 😋.

Well it was a close one 😥 yesterday @ the RVA BIG Market as the 🌧️☔️ was gracious enough to wait till 🕦 to appear. Slower traffic yet pleasant 🌅. The perfect 🥶 day for our loaded potatoes; and as we sold out of our beignets, we re-introduced patrons to our "crepe chips".

Lovely 🌅 @ the RVA BIG Market this Saturday & as the 🇨🇦☁️ were dissipating we launched our "reinvented" Beignets, new style, thinner, fluffier, crispier 😋. The recently added ham & cheese stuffed fried bread was a 👍.
