Introduction
The purpose of this policy is to establish a procedure for monitoring the City’s online discussion web sites. The City of Richfield

uses social media applications to present news and information relating to the City. We encourage people to submit questions, comments, and concerns, but note that the sites are moderated online discussions, and not a public forum. Policy
Once posted, the City reserves the right to delete submissions that contain vulgar language, personal attacks of any kind, or offensive comments that target or disparage any protected group. Further, the City also reserves the right to delete comments that are:

(i) Spam or include links to other sites;
(ii) Clearly off topic;
(iii) Not appropriate for this site;
(iv) Advocate illegal activity;
(v) Promote particular services, products, or political candidates and/or
organizations;
(vi) Infringe on copyrights or trademarks;
(vii) Use personally identifiable information. We recommend you not share
any of your personal information on our pages. Please note that any public comments expressed on a City site do not reflect the opinions and position of the City of Richfield. If you have any questions concerning the operation of any Richfield online moderated discussion site, please contact the page administrator.

Please join us in welcoming Nat Byhre, our new Urban Agriculture Recreation Specialist!

Nat joined the Recreation team a few weeks ago and will be leading urban agriculture activities and programming as part of a grant-funded project. They've already been hard at work building new raised garden beds at the Richfield Community Center and preparing for the launch of our new Kitchen Garden Club program.

We're excited to have Nat helping grow opportunities for residents to learn, connect, and get their hands in the dirt.

Celebrate Juneteenth this Friday (June 19), from noon to 4 p.m. at Centennial Lakes Park (7499 France Avenue South).

This year we are partnering with the Joint Community Policing Partnership, the Anti-Racism Collective and the City of Edina to host a free, family-friendly event that will feature live music, spoken word performances, African-rooted dance, youth activities, art contests, community resources and food from Black-owned businesses.
