Midtown Farmers' Market A producers-only market held Saturdays, April-November, in the Commons of North Hills.

The Mission of the Midtown Farmers' Market is to create a vibrant, thriving farmers market in the heart of Midtown Raleigh, where the community can buy local, family-farmed foods, grown in a manner that sustains the land and our health. Our market is dedicated to providing the community access to healthful food options, and educational opportunities to learn about sustainable farming methods and food systems.

Along side our guest judges, we invited 30 market attendees to sample dishes from each chef and vote on their favorite. bartaco impressed the crowd and brought home a win!

We are lucky to be neighbors with an awesome restaurant and incredible chefs.

A new set of chefs join us at Iron Chef each year to represent Tamasha and they NEVER disappoint. Tamasha Modern Indian | MICHELIN Guide, 2025 used various market ingredients to create a striking dish that won them Best Overall & Best Presentation.

We are incredibly grateful to have worked with amazing chefs from Tamasha Modern Indian | MICHELIN Guide, 2025 & bartaco. Each team created amazing dishes using secret ingredients: water gourd from Kree’s Flowers 🪴 and eggs from Linda maggio🥚🌱

We are so proud to spotlight one of our market favorite’s!

“Hello, I am Shandra and in March 2021, I embarked on a journey to learn how to make natural soap. This wasn’t initially intended to be a business venture: instead it was a personal endeavor to ensure that my family and I had control over what we were putting on our skin. I realized that the ingredients absorbed through our skin are just as crucial as what we consume, and I wanted to harness the benefits of plant-based ingredients for healthier skin care.

In December 2021, I took a leap of faith and launched Lavish Soap Box. Today, I offer handcrafted bath and body products such as soap, body butter cream, sugar scrub, lip balm, shower steamers and more that are made with natural ingredients and made in small batches to ensure freshness. Lavish Soap Box’s mission is to create high-quality products and promote a healthy and clean lifestyle. I aim to ensure that each product not only pampers the skin but also nourishes the soul with the finest natural ingredients. Some of the ingredients consist of olive oil, coconut oil, kokum butter, avocado oil, clays, powders, and essential oils to create products that deliver a spa-like aromatherapy experience right in the home.

Overall, selling skincare products made with natural ingredients aligns with my values of health, sustainability, effectiveness, transparency, and cruelty-free practices. It’s not just about selling products; it’a about promoting a lifestyle prioritizing personal well-being.”

Watch bartaco, Tamasha Modern Indian | MICHELIN Guide, 2025, and Leo’s Italian Social go head to head in competition! 🤜🤛

9AM - secrete ingredients announced 🤫
9:30AM - cooking begins 🔪
10:30AM - cooking ends and judges are presented with the dishes 🍽️
10:45AM - People’s Choice tasting begins 🍽️

Vendor spotlight: ✨ Decaf Tea Company ✨

This week we are so excited to highlight one of our awesome vendors, Decaf Tea Company!

Decaf Tea Company started in 2023 after their founder, Mike, developed a sensitivity to caffeine but still wanted to enjoy a good cup of tea. After realizing just how hard it is to find a flavorful decaffeinated substitute, he decided to take matters into his own hands — and Decaf Tea Co was born!

Based in Raleigh, with their tea produced in Hillsborough, Decaf Tea Co is all about making wonderful tea for all to enjoy — without all the extra caffeine! Their teas are naturally decaffeinated using a CO₂ process that removes 99% of the caffeine while preserving the flavors we love, and they have PLENTY to choose from!

Their inventory includes classics like English Breakfast and Earl Grey, along with Chai Spice, Peach Apricot, Vanilla Black, Jasmine Green, and so many others! There is something for just about every tea lover!

It’s an absolutely BEAUTIFUL day at the Midtown Farmers Market!!!

Come on down and shop local with a spread of amazing vendors, ranging from kids’ clothes and jewelry to hot food, fresh produce, and so much more!

Come see the amazing Kindred Voyages for her cooking demo!! She’ll be whipping up an AMAZING breakfast for you to try, with demos starting at 9:15, 10:15, and a final demo at 11:15! Come see her skills in action and grab yourself a taste!

While you’re at it, men, come on down and visit with our sponsor, Game Day Men’s Health! Stop by their booth to learn more about the services they offer and how they can help you take charge of your health and wellness!

We’re also joined today by local nonprofit Wake Audubon! Stop by their booth to learn more about our local birds, wildlife, and the ways you can help protect and support their habitats right here in our community!
