The farmers at our market work family farms, some over 100 years old. All of our produce is local. All products are produced by the local people selling it to you. There are no middlemen, no wholesale. Many of the varieties of fruits and vegetables are simply not available at supermarkets. y distinction of produce at the market is taste. In comparison, produce bred for wholesale channels are bred for storage and shipping and shape as they must on average travel 1,500 miles. In comparison, most all of our produce come from within 80 miles of Quincy. The market also features local small business and entrepreneurial ventures, family activities, and music.
