Heroes Haven Homestead wants to take a moment to step away from the farm stand and celebrate something truly special happening in our community. 🎓

To every High School Graduate this season — you did it. The early mornings, the late nights, the tests, the setbacks, the moments you weren't sure you had anything left — all of it built you into the person standing in that cap and gown today. That's not luck. That's grit. That's character. And it shows.

We want to give a special shoutout to the Class of 2026 at Pryor High School — our community, our pride, and this year, our family. Our son is among you, and we could not be more proud of the young man he has become. Every ounce of hard work, every sacrifice, every step forward has led to this moment — and this is just the beginning. 🎉

To all the graduates — the diploma in your hand is proof that when you put your heart into something, it pays off. Go out there and do great things. The world is ready for you. 💙

Day one is done and Heroes Haven Homestead Farm Stand is just getting warmed up! We're coming back TOMORROW with more product, more time, and even more excitement. 🌾

Good morning everyone! 🌻

We're going to keep it real with you — first days are a learning curve, and we learned a lot this week! We'll have some of our freeze dried treats and fresh-milled bread ready for you today, but a few of the other goodies we mentioned are going to need a little more time to do them right.

We'd rather show up with less and do it well than rush something just to have it on the table.

We are SO grateful for your excitement and support, and we promise we are heads down working to bring everything we teased — and more. This is just the beginning!

Heroes Haven Homestead is a veteran-owned farm stand rooted in pride, community, and a whole lot of heart. Founded by an Air Force veteran and run with the help of family, we started right here on our homestead with a simple mission: bring fresh, quality goods to our neighbors while honoring the men and women who served this great nation.

From freshly baked breads to fun freeze-dried candies and snacks, everything we offer is made with care and a commitment to quality you can taste. We're currently growing from our rural homestead and look forward to bringing our stand to local farmers markets and community events in the area — so keep an eye out for us!

But Heroes Haven Homestead is more than a farm stand. A portion of every purchase goes back to support veteran causes, because we believe those who served deserve to be taken care of long after they come home. Shopping with us means you're not just getting something great — you're helping give back to those who gave so much.

The excitement around here is real — our Farm Stand opens TOMORROW and we can barely contain ourselves! We've been busy in the kitchen and we can't wait to share it all with you. Here's a sneak peek at what we're bringing:
🍬 Freeze Dried Treats — Skittles, Jolly Ranchers, and Gummy Bears. Crunchy, intense, and oddly addictive — one bite and you'll wonder where these have been all your life.
🥬 Wholesome Snacks — Kale chips, banana chips, and beet chips for those who like a little crunch without the sugar rush. We're also bringing apple slices in plain AND cinnamon sugar — perfect for the little ones.
🍞 Fresh-Milled Bread — Made with freshly milled whole grain flour, we'll have artisan loaves and dinner rolls straight from our kitchen. And maybe — just maybe — a few sweet rolls will sneak their way in too. You'll have to come find out!
📍 Stop by and see us tomorrow from 11am–1pm (or until we sell out — so come early!).
We'll be posting updated photos throughout today as everything comes together, so check back this evening for a full look at the spread. We love this community and can't wait to see familiar faces tomorrow. See you there!

Happy Monday, Heroes Haven family! 🎉 We're back with some exciting news — our stand is opening this week!

📅 Wednesday (tentative) and Thursday — confirmed!
🕐 Limited hours: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

We'll be stocking fresh loaves of bread, rolls, freeze-dried items, and more surprises you'll have to come see for yourself. We're just getting our feet wet, so bear with us as we get rolling!

Happy Tuesday everyone!! Hope your Monday went off without a hitch. Sooo.....what did you do yesterday? Welp, remember that Wacky W**d Wednesday we had on Mullein? So we may have harvest a little bit and freeze dried it! We ground some up and will be using it in a tea to help my lovely allergies. 🤣 Got to love mother nature.

We also made some smudge sticks out of Mullein, Lemon Balm, and Sage, straight out of the front garden! Oh and a little bit of Basil on the side for seasoning. LOL

Fun Fact Friday! 🐥Quail

Did you know that in the early days of American homesteading (1800s), quail weren't just wild birds--they were part of the homestead ecosystem! Instead of raising them like chickens, homesteaders would attract wild quail by planing grains and maintaining brushy areas.

These little birds provided eggs and meat with almost no upkeep--basically the original "free-rang" system. Even better, quail eggs were considered a delicacy and sometimes traded between neighbors for other goods.

Yes, you can certainly plan to see quail eggs available in our farm store just as soon as the little hens come of age and start laying! Check out our newest coop!
