With a very full heart and more tears than I know what to do with this morning, I’m sharing that Buckland’s will be closing.
I have poured my heart, my time, and every bit of myself into this little sandwich shop. What started as an idea in my mind became a place where I got to feed people, know their families, learn their usual orders, and watch them fall in love with my food. Thank you for giving me that. It means more to me than I could ever put into words.
We have loved serving this community real food made from scratch, with care and purpose. Every sandwich, every loaf of bread, and every single fry was made with love for each and every one of you. I hope you could taste it. I hope you felt it when you walked through our doors.
And to our staff: I could not have asked for better people to share this with. You have stood right beside us through every up and down, put your own hearts into this place, and helped bring my dream to life. Buckland’s became what it was because of you, too. We are so grateful for you.
Please come out and help us sell through the last of our inventory. The money we bring in from selling that inventory will be going to our employees, who have been right by our side through it all. Please be patient and kind as we begin running out of things. We’ll keep serving what we can, with the same love we always have.
We hope you’ve enjoyed everything we have brought to you. We will never forget the love and joy this community has brought us—the conversations, the laughter, the encouragement, and every person who came back and brought someone they loved.
You might just see us pop up somewhere else, in a different way. There is still a lot of love and a lot of food left in us.
We will miss seeing you all dearly for now. Thank you for loving my food and for making room for my dream in your lives.
For now, it’s see you later. ❤️
With all our love,
Brittany, Joey, and the Buckland’s family
