Well, it's that time of year again.
Where you get the phone call from school saying that you need to come get your child because they are sick. π©
Ugh.
Of course, as a mom, you worry about your child feeling ill and what you can do to help them. Then, you worry about taking time off of work and using your PTO or sick days or vacation time.
Unless you're self-employed.
When you're self-employed there are perks, like having more flexibility with your schedule.π
However, one of the down falls is not having PTO, vacation time or sick days.
So when I have to message you to cancel or reschedule your appointment, know that I DREAD it. Not only because I'm losing a whole day of income, but I HATE disappointing my clients π©
For real.
It makes me super anxious and almost sick to my stomach thinking about having to call everyone to reschedule or even cancel.
So, with that being said, PLEASE do not give me grief about it if I have to do it to you. Know that it is not fun for me to need to reschedule. It is actually 10x more work for me to have to move everyone around and I will do whatever I can to avoid it. π₯΄
Thankfully, everyone that I had to move around for tomorrow was SUPER understanding and very thoughtful ππ
It's not always like that, unfortunately.
So, if I have to ever reach out and reschedule or cancel an appointment in the future and you are disrespectful and rude to me, you will be uninvited from my schedule. βοΈ
No one deserves that nonsense for things that are out of their control. For anyone that knows me, you know that I'm VERY accommodating to schedule changes and I would hope that you would be the same. πβ€οΈ
