Last Call to get your Empanada Fix!!!!

THANK YOU!!!! It's hard to put in words this past week. It is surreal the amount of Hugs, Best Wishes, the many faces I've seen and amazingly some new customers. My heart is full just like the heart pictured which was done by Solvi. It was a pleasure meeting and feeding you all. Thank you for an amazing almost 6 years.

Good Morning! Restocked Empanadas: Seafood, Beef and Cheese, Pizza and Buffalo Chicken.

It's soup weather though hoping for spring by the end of the week. Have Sancocho, Smoke Pork, and Lentil.

Alcapurrias are back in stock as well. Pastelon and Arroz con Gandules (Spanish rice) available.

Thank you all who passed by yesterday! I apologize if I sold out on a variety you were looking for.

Every morning I will post on what varieties I have restocked especially if they sold out the day before. Today's Restock: Beef, Beef with Cheese, Buffalo Chicken, Chorizo, Mushroom Risotto. Pumpkin Sage, Apple and Elevated S'more.

We are open every day from 11am to ? Every day I will be in the kitchen late making empanadas so you can get your fix!

THANK YOU for all the well wishes. Trust me it was not an easy decision.

I will be open every day from 11am to ? Question Mark because I'll be busy just making and will be probably here even though on the site it shows closed at 4:30pm. Please be aware I'm ubermom and at times have to run out and then come right back.

Yesterday I got so many orders. I have decided to not take online orders. Once a specific variety is sold out I will not be making it. I will keep restocking. One of the many question is how long the Empanadas last in the freezer? They last 6 Months as long as they do not get freezer burn.

Empanadas is not the only thing we have available.

Soups: Sancocho (Beef or Vegan), Lentil Soup, Chicken Soup, and Smoked Pork Soup.
Pastelon: Our Lasagna which is Gluten Free. We replace the pasta with plantains.
Alcapurrias: Green Banana and Yautia Root dough stuffed with Meat. It's a Fritta.

If I start tearing up when you are here please know that it's because I will miss your smiles, conversations, drinks, and HUGS!!!!!!!

The universe has a way of aligning events in ways that tests you, it gives you nudges to help guide you. It's up to us as individuals to be able to see these events for what they are, and make the best possible decision for yourself and your family.

This is a bittersweet post. March 16th will be the last day you can get your Empanada Fix while supplies last! It's been an incredible 5 plus years getting to meet so many you, so many incredible vendors, amazing chefs, hosting so many venues, being part of your special occasions with either my cookies or our food. We have been so blessed with the support from the beginning when we started getting a punk to Alaska, to opening in a shared kitchen, doing events in a tent where we brought the whole kitchen under it, to having out little hole in a wall shop, and getting our food truck! Through it all it could not happen without YOU! THANK YOU!

If I don't respond to this post please know that I'm just processing it all. Anyone who knows us knows we are a hard working family and its time for a new beginnings. I'm not a good bye kinda gal so Hasta Pronto y Gracias con todo mi Corazon! (See you soon and Thank You from the Bottom of my Heart!)
