We get asked a lot how we start things in mushrooms cultivation. There are all kinds of ways to start a culture but featured here is a wild white oyster that we cloned and are now working on getting into production. We foraged, took a few small chunks of the oyster to agar plates and have since ‘cleaned’ it up and gotten it to grain. Next up it goes to substrate and then into the grow room for testing. Last photo was a day of some lab work.
