We'll be at the Opening Day of Cudahy Farmers Market - 3500 Library Drive. Tomorrow Wed 3rd June, 330pm to 730pm. Take Layton to S. Kinegan which becomes Library Drive. Freshly cut rhubarb, herbs and garlic. Hope to see you there!

Life cycle of garlic:  Cloves planted in Nov 2012.  August 2013-harvest and hang to dry. Sell some at the Farmers Market...

Life cycle of garlic: Cloves planted in Nov 2012. August 2013-harvest and hang to dry. Sell some at the Farmers Market. Save smaller cloves to use at home. November 2013-replant large cloves. Cover with a blanket of organic straw. Harvest this summer. Repeat!

It is mid-February and although we still have a blanket of snow on the ground, the days are getting longer, the sun is warmer, brighter and higher in the sky, and recently we enjoyed Spring-like temperatures! So take heart; there’s another season of fresh, local food just around the corner!
