Week update
“ schools out for summer “

Hello ! It’s official school is out ! This is great news as we can know focus more on the garden and the stand right know our radish’s and string beans are looking great tomato’s are growing and cucumbers are slowly coming up the onions are coming up and broccoli is too we have started to talk about the hours right know we are think 11-3 these will most likely change

We hope to see this summer !

Week update

Hello June ☀️☀️☀️🌱

We’ve been working hard ! the fence work is done ✅ and vegetable are in the ground !!!!!!! We planted last week✅ owen went and watered earlier and said everything has sprouted !!!!! ✅So that’s awesome news ! With this upcoming rain soon it should give me and Owen a break on watering

name change

over this past winter we lost one of the biggest influence's,mentor,loved one "jimmy lee" we felt a nice we could honor him and his commitment to the garden would be naming the garden and stand after him often times you could find jimmy in the garden w**ding it, tending to the vegetables, watering, picking , teaching us

Good afternoon ! 🌞

Update 5/28/24

Last year was a major fail but a great learning experience for me and Owen
First -problem was obviously with the rain and the lack of sun

second- was the size of the garden we had went a little crazy with the size witch made it very hard to manage to w**d it would take almost a whole day

third- the ground we thought we had a good place and I still think it could have some potential but …… it was very rocky way to much sun and had way to many grass roots witch was me and Owen’s faults really because we didn’t want to work the ground to much

Solutions to these problems

First -we down sized this new garden is way smaller witch should make it more manageable

Second - although we really can’t control the rain , wish we could we can crontroll the amount of shade and sun the new area has sun almost all day until 4:00 in the evening when the sun shifts this should give us almost = sun and shade

Third - ground me and Owen have used the rototiller 3 times so far each time going behind and get all the grass roots I think we’ll do it once more and it should be pretty well worked

So with that being said I will update you next week with a update
