It’s the annual squash tasting!! 🤩😋✨

Join AIM Farmers Markets at Point Reyes Farmers Market on October 22nd with Chef Christin Anderson. She is conducting a squash sampling of the many varieties of winter squash from Shao Shan Farm and making a pumpkin soup using a pumpkin from her own garden.

In partnership with Marin Agricultural Land Trust, we are hosting a “Guess the weight of the pumpkin contest”, Point Reyes Farmers Market tradition, where the person who guesses the closest weight wins a bounty of local food products!

You’ll be pleased to “meat” Beffa Springs Ranch, a local regenerative ranch that has joined our Saturday Point Reyes Farmers Market. Located in Petaluma, Beffa Springs Ranch sells beef, lamb, and pork all from animals they raise. They also have their own USDA mobile harvest unit and do their own butchery + cut and wrap on site. They’re raising the steaks!

Join us at the Point Reyes Farmers Market this Saturday at 10am for a cooking demo by Anna O'Malley, MD. She will be making a minty and delicious Green "Viriditas" Sauce served with polenta.

Anna O’Malley is an Integrative Family and Community Medicine physician at the Coastal Health Alliance in West Marin, California, and is the founder and director of Natura Institute for Ecology and Medicine, located in the Commonweal Garden in Bolinas. She teaches courses on the medicine of being in reciprocal relationship with nature and each other, and the resilience that arises therefrom. She loves growing and eating nourishing, healing foods and sharing the abundance with others.
