What started with one sweet mama and her baby boy has quickly turned into a whole herd of personalities, goat kisses, and nonstop entertainment! 🥰

These spoiled babies spend their days grazing, playing, making us laugh, and reminding us to slow down and enjoy the simple things. ❤️

Thank you for helping me take the leap into the wonderful world of goat ownership. Your kindness, advice, and willingness to share your knowledge have meant so much as I learn the ropes with Sugar Mama and her little guy.

This little man is officially HUNK 🥹❤️

And let me tell you… he is absolutely melting our hearts around here.

Just look at how much his body language has changed already. From being unsure and cautious to kicking back, relaxing, and soaking up all the love. Watching animals settle in, build trust, and show their personalities is one of the sweetest parts of homestead life.

I’d say HUNK is feeling pretty at home at Bailey Homestead. 🐐❤️

Our zinnias are finally starting to show off, and it makes me so excited for what this space will become. We recently dedicated this area to being a butterfly garden, and while there’s still plenty of work ahead, seeing these first colorful blooms feels like a little reminder that good things take time.

One flower, one butterfly, and one project at a time. ❤️

🥛🐐 Every drop feels like a victory right now!

Sugar Mama has only been with us for a few days, and we’re both learning this whole milking thing together. ❤️

Today’s milk haul may not look like much, but for a brand-new goat, a brand-new milker, and a baby still nursing full-time, I’m calling it a win! 🥰

One thing I’m learning quickly about homesteading is that every skill starts somewhere. The first loaf of bread, the first chick hatch, the first garden harvest… and now, the first little jar of fresh goat milk. 🐐✨

We’re taking it slow, building trust, and focusing on making milking a positive experience for both of us. The milk will come with time, but right now I’m just proud of the progress.

We’ll have our lemonade stand set up right by our brand-new butterfly garden, and I couldn’t be more excited to welcome everyone back to Bailey Homestead. 🦋🍋

Every little project, sign, flower, and animal has been part of creating something special, and I am SO thrilled to finally share it with y’all!
