The Bloomfield Development Corporation (BDC) created the Bloomfield Saturday Market in order to create a community gathering place--somewhere for neighbors to enjoy a meal, buy produce directly from farmers, and get a gift for a friend, all while exchanging ideas and soaking in entertainment provided by creative artists. The Bloomfield Market promotes community health, not only by providing a social venue to encourage camaraderie and interaction, but also by encouraging healthy lifestyles through the availability of a wide range of produce.

There is a farmers a market happening tomorrow. Will Limp Bizkit play? Will Chloë Sevigny wander by with a handful of gyro meat? Probably not, but come see us anyway!

Pittsburgher Highland Farm, Music Meadows, Ashley Yocum, & Waldorf School of Pittsburgh will be there. Mr. Bulgogi and Sprezzatura will not

We sold out of our other sizes of the Bloomfield by Choice shirts, but we still have a couple mediums and larges left. Twenty-five bucks gets you one!

Tomorrow we will have BEVERAGES and VEGETABLES, and many (many) stalls for you to prowl through. Also we will have weather (a good one this time)

We will sadly NOT have Mill Creek Trout Farm ever again, as they have shuffled off this market coil onto the pristine land of Indiana to begin their new life

We'll also be missing Healthy Heartbeets, Up in Suds, and Mr. Bulgogi
