We’re a family of five living a simple, faith-filled life just off the Alabama River Parkway. Rooted in our love for God, family, and the land, we’re excited to share a little piece of our farm with you. At Barnes Family Farm, we:
• Train horses and offer beginner horseback riding lessons
• Raise happy chickens and will soon provide farm fresh eggs daily
• Grow delicious produce like peas, toma

toes, squash, and okra
• Offer U-Pick blueberries—and they’re almost ready!
• Sell painted gourds for birds and beautiful ferns and flowers for your porch
Whether you’re stopping by for fresh veggies, planning a day in the blueberry patch, picking out a porch fern, or riding with us in the arena, we’re so happy to welcome you. From our family to yours—welcome to the farm!

Take a wild guess what we’re up to at Barnes Family Farms today… 🐝

We’re painting new bee boxes and getting everything ready for a busy honey season. The bees have had plenty of sunshine, rain, and blooms this year, and the hives are looking fantastic.

A lot of folks don’t realize it, but the honey you see on our shelves doesn’t come from somewhere else. It comes right from here on the farm. We keep our own bees, manage our own hives, and harvest our own honey.

We’re thankful for God’s blessings and the beauty of His creation. If things keep going like they are, this year’s honey crop is going to be phenomenal!

Thank You, Lord, for the sunshine, the rain, the flowers, and the bees.

🌱 BIG NEWS FROM BARNES FAMILY FARMS! 🌱

We’re excited to announce that Barnes Family Farms is now your local dealer for Plant Agra liquid fertilizers, liquid lime, soil enhancers, and food plot products!

If you’ve got food plots, hay fields, pastures, row crops, gardens, or just want to grow better grass, we’d love to talk with you about what these products can do. One thing that really caught our attention is the ability to address pH issues in areas where you simply can’t get a lime buggy. That’s a game changer for many of our customers.

Need soil samples taken? Not sure what your land needs? We can help with that too. We can discuss soil testing, interpret results, and help point you toward the right products for your situation.

This isn’t a company we just discovered yesterday. I personally started doing business with Plant Agra back around 2010 when I was purchasing peanut inoculants, and I’ve had great success with their products over the years. That’s one of the reasons we’re excited to bring them to our customers.

The Mo-Hay liquid fertilizer has produced some impressive results in our area, and we’re looking forward to helping local farmers, landowners, and food plot enthusiasts learn more about it.

Don’t forget — our cow bouncy house is up and ready for the kids! We’ve also got several picnic tables tucked under the shade trees so y’all can sit back, relax, and enjoy the day while the little ones play.

We even moved the bouncy house up onto the black fabric so kids’ socks stay cleaner and out of the dirt and grass.

This summer, feel free to come hang out with us at Barnes Family Farms. You don’t have to buy a thing — we’d just love to have y’all come enjoy the atmosphere, make some memories, and spend a little time on the farm.
