Monday’s homeschool day started with a tour from a Sacred Farmer, Mrs Stella of Opportunity. There are over 20 farmers here on this land. We had fava beans that were amazing, collected seeds for next fall, planted seeds that the kids got to being home, made a craft, had lunch together. Discussed where Arizona gets her water from. And more lessons from the Aloe Vera plant. We are discussing making aloe soap! -thanks for coordinating!

Lovely volunteer event with Small Farms Big Minds! Volunteers from Intel worked hard and built a composter, pulled w**ds, and laid down cardboard for w**d suppression. And we had fun too!
