Calling all pet pawrents!! Join us this Saturday (Halloween), at the Downtown Phoenix Farmers Market and City Pawsh for a Spooktacular pet costume contest!! 🎃

Bring your little bundles of cute for a free fun filled (maybe a little chaotic) pet parade and costume contest! 🐾🐾🐾

ALL pets welcomed, as long as they are friendly! 🎃

Registration begins at 8:45 am inside City Pawsh, City Pawsh | Pet Lounge + Dog Store it is free, but your pet will need a number for voting!

Registration runs from 8:45 AM - 9:45 AM! Pet parade through the Farmers Market and Arizona Center begins at 10:00 AM!

When the parade concludes pets will be invited on the stage by the beloved Will From Brazil William Rocha de Carvalho for a final show off before voting!

We welcome all our little and big pets! If your pet isn’t too big on dressing up, dress up their stroller and bring them on down for a fun filled morning!

We’ve got a 5 categories, Best in Show, Sweetest Senior, Big Dog, Small But Mighty, and Spooktacular (open to cats, birds, bunnies, snakes and bearded dragons because we have a lot of unique regulars at the Farmers Market)!

Winners will be announced after all the votes have been counted!!
(We estimate 30 minutes after all pets have been called on stage)!

Please remember to clean up after your pet if any accidents occur. Although alllll pets are welcomed, they still need to behave and get along well with others! If you don’t want to dress your pet up they are still welcome to join the parade but not eligible for voting!

Rise and shine downtown! It’s that magical time of the week! Pack up the kiddos, the doggos, the kitties, the neighbors, bring the whole gang!

✨Happy market eve, downtown!! Hope everyone has had an amazing week and is ready to come hangout at their favorite farmers market tomorrow? We can’t wait to see y’all!!

Produce is slowly but surely returning for a couple of our farms who took some pretty hard hits this summer due to rain and weather. Blue Sky Organic Farms has been harvesting all week and is happy to be bringing radishes, Armenian cucumbers, zucchini and arugula!! Recycled City also has more produce this week so be sure to come early, produce is the first thing to go. 🥬🥒🥕

Speaking of hard hits, our friends at Just Farm took a huge hit this past week during a micro burst that devastated most of their crops. They are still coming tomorrow but you might see a little less on the table. Show them some love and support by buying some of their fresh greens, micro greens, or even a tee shirt. If nothing else, stop by and say hello as they could definitely use some extra kindness this weekend! 💚🫜

Tomorrow is also the Community Play Date, hosted by the Arizona Center!! So bring the little ones and plan on staying for a little extra playtime! There will be bouncy houses, crafts, noisy play areas and quiet chill ones. There might even be some free plushy frogs (while supplies last)!! 🐸
