First deer of the season checked in and it was a share the harvest!! huge thank you to all of our share the harvest participants we couldn’t do it without you. Our goal is 80 share the harvest deer this year. Please help us reach that goal. The community counts on that meat that is harvested to help get everybody through the year. It is an awesome program and we are looking forward to participating and setting new records for ourselves this year. The last two years in a row we have processed 63 whole deer that meat is then distributed through the Palmyra and Bethel Food pantries and I can’t tell you how grateful they are to receive it so if you are hunting this year and get the opportunity to tag more deer than you need for yourself or your family. Please consider donating to share the harvest. There is no cost to the Hunter and it is such an awesome program. So please help us by managing the deer, herd and doing a service to your community at the same time  and as always, happy hunting and stay safe from your friends at Walnut Hill Farms custom meat processing. ps. don’t forget we are available nights and weekends for drop off, especially in this warm weather when it’s not safe to hang deer outside of the cooler
