“S•Z Goods is my creative outlet to emulate the boardwalk, and iron-on T-shirt shops I grew up going to and loving. Self made “fan club” items have always fascinated me and I try to bring that twist on the familiar to my design work. I use many forms of clothing and print as a canvas for my ideas. Expressing myself and my societal beliefs through worn items has always been important to me. I strive to make things I’ve always wanted but couldn’t find. “

The time to vote for our board of directors will close soon!

To Participate in voting you must be a Member-Owner in good standing. Look out for an email from Helios Voting Bot about how to proceed with casting your ballot. You will also be able to request a paper ballot in store.

Our Board is made up of Member-Owners from our community willing to give their time and get involved. They should be representatives of all of the types of people our Co-Op serves!

This Month’s Round Up is

The Attic Youth Center’s mission is to create opportunities for Le***an, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Q***r, and Questioning (LGBTQ) youth to develop into healthy, independent, civic-minded adults within a safe and supportive community and to promote the acceptance of LGBTQ youth in society.

Many LGBTQ youth continue to experience prejudice and oppression in their daily lives, which often leaves youth feeling isolated and vulnerable. The Attic community helps provide youth with a sense of belonging, connection, and understanding.

The Attic offers a wide range of programs and services designed to provide youth with the support and skills needed to transition into independent, thriving adults. The Attic strives to have a positive impact on all aspects of youth’s lives; to facilitate growth, empowerment, and resiliency; and to help youth find their voice, which is often silenced.
