Hey hey y’all 🩵 Whewww… life has definitely been a whirlwind lately 😅❤️‍🩹

Just wanted to give y’all an update. I did get to go spend time with my pawpaw today and have lunch with him 🥰 His speech is improving a little more every day, he’s still on oxygen, but overall he’s doing better and we’re so thankful. The doctors confirmed he had what’s called a brain stem stroke, and by the grace of God we are beyond grateful to still have him with us 🙏🏼🩵

I’ve been going every day to spend time with him because honestly… we both need it ❤️ I love my pawpaw more than words can explain and I’m just ready for him to keep getting stronger and back to being himself again 💪🏼🥹

I’ve also been secretly working on a BIG surprise for him for when he comes home and I cannot wait for him to see it 🩵

But today took a little turn for me too 😅 I ended up spending my evening in the ER with severe lower back and pelvic pain along with getting sick. Honestly, after the last few stressful weeks, I thought my body had just hit exhaustion from worrying nonstop, not sleeping, and barely eating. But after the pain got worse walking and standing, my OBGYN told me to head to the ER for scans and bloodwork to rule out anything serious.

Thankfully my husband and best friend- Angel were there with me ❤️ After a CT scan and testing, the doctors believe I have an ovarian cyst that possibly ruptured along with fluid in my pelvic area from it. So tonight I’m finally laying in bed resting — which y’all KNOW is not my strong suit 😂 especially because my farmstand labels FINALLY came in today and I wanted to get ahead on everything.

Tomorrow I’ll be following up with my OBGYN, visiting my pawpaw, and then heading home to get the stand ready for this weekend because trust me… y’all do NOT want to miss what’s coming 👀😍 I’ve got SO many goodies planned and several NEW items too 😉✨

I may need a little rest tonight, but I’m thanking God that my pawpaw is progressing and that I’m okay too ❤️

Thank y’all again for every message, every prayer, and every bit of support through all of this. Please keep praying for my pawpaw — this recovery road is long, but if there’s one thing about him, he’s a fighter 💪🏼🩵

Andddd… I also have some exciting news I’ve been praying about and waiting for the right time to share 👀😍 I finally got the details worked out, so stay tuned because that announcement is coming VERY soon 😉

Right now all I can say is… PRAISE GOD!!! 🙌🏼🩵

These past few weeks have been so hard seeing my pawpaw laying in that hospital bed hurting. He is such a hero to me and means more to me than words could ever explain ❤️

But today we finally got some good news 🥹

My pawpaw just got the call that insurance APPROVED him to be transferred to an inpatient rehab facility! 🙌🏼 There he’ll be able to start speech therapy, swallowing therapy, physical therapy, and continue getting stronger every single day 💪🏼🩵

His surgery plans will depend on how therapy goes, but right now we are just beyond thankful. We were honestly worried he’d have to stay in the hospital much longer because we were told insurance approvals and rehab placement could take days.

And now as I’m typing this, I’m sitting here watching my pawpaw sitting up in bed eating his lunch ❤️ I did have to help him sit up, but my goodness… he is fighting so hard and doing AMAZING 🥹💪🏼

God is good. Please keep the prayers coming as he starts this next step in recovery 🙏🏼🩵

Good morning farmstand family ☀️
I got up early and prepped cookie doughs, whoopie pies, bread & cinnamon rolls.
I’m heading to the hospital to check on my pawpaw and spend a little time with him. As soon as I get back I’ll have goodies hitting the stand for yall!
We have more NEW goodies coming today and this week as well 😉

Please continue to keep my pawpaw in your prayers he’s doing a little better. Yesterday he was able to get up and walk again. However when he did his oxygen dropped to 85 and he said he was tired so he went back to rest. The continued love, prayers & support from my farmstand family is such a blessing. 🙏🏼

Goodmorning farmstand family ☀️🩵

I just added a few more goodies out to the stand for y’all today 😉🍪✨

We ARE open today, but I wanted to let y’all know I probably won’t be in the kitchen much because I’ll be heading back to the hospital to be with my pawpaw ❤️

Today the doctor is supposed to come by and start planning out his rehab stay and therapy moving forward. Please continue praying for him 🙏🏼🩵

Last night meant so much to me because I got to take him some Memorial Day ribs my hubby made and just sit there holding his hand while we talked, shared stories, laughed a little, and honestly cried a little too 🥹❤️ Those are moments and memories I’ll cherish forever.

If you know me, then you know my grandma, my nana, and my pawpaw have always been my safe place — the people I’ve always gone to for advice, comfort, and guidance. Sadly my grandma and nana are already in Heaven with the Lord, and now watching my 82-year-old pawpaw fight through this is emotional beyond words. But he is strong, brave, stubborn, and one of the toughest men I know 💪🏼🩵

Thank y’all so much for all the sweet messages, check-ins, and prayers. They truly mean the world to us ❤️

I’ll update y’all as soon as I can today. Until then, come grab some goodies from the stand and please continue to say a prayer for my pawpaw 🙏🏼💛

It’s Memorial Day and YES — we are OPEN today ❤️

We’ve got more family-size cookie trays, brownies, and other homemade goodies available at the stand today 😉🍪🍫✨

But most importantly, today we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our country 🇺🇸❤️

Freedom is never free, and because of the sacrifices made by our military, we are blessed to live freely in this beautiful country. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to all who have served and continue to serve. 🩵

Today we especially remember those who are no longer with us — resting in Heaven with Jesus ❤️🙏🏼

I just made another trip down to the stand and dropped off:
🍞 Fresh bread loaves
🍪 Variety boxes of cookies
✨ Family-size boxes of White Chocolate Doodle Cookies
🍪 Family-size Chocolate Chip Cookie boxes

Now y’all PLEASE bear with me on these labels 😅🫣 My label printer decided to quit on me RIGHT when I ran out of labels, so your girl is over here printing labels on regular paper, cutting them out by hand, and taping them on one by one 😂✂️📄

So if the labels look a little “hot mess express”… just know the homemade goodies inside still taste AMAZING 😉🔥

While I’m waiting on labels to finish printing for the cinnamon rolls, bread loaves, doodle cookies, and oatmeal cream pies 😅🍞🍪 I went ahead and made a trip down to the stand to drop off these beautiful crosses, Bible bookmarks, and cards from one of our sweet farmstand family members — Kevin Nixon & his family ❤️

Kevin brought these by before and y’all absolutely loved them… and honestly, so do we 🩵

These crosses are extra special because they’re handmade from olive trees in Bethlehem ✝️🌿 They’re such a beautiful reminder of faith, peace, and God’s presence through every season of life.

I personally keep one in my purse and one in my car as a little reminder that even on the hardest days, God is always with me every step of the way 💛

Please feel free to grab one for yourself as a keepsake and a gentle reminder that you are never alone ❤️🙏🏼

I officially ran out of room in my baskets 😂 so I went ahead and made a trip down to the stand with:

🍪 Whoopie Pies
🍪 Chocolate Chip Cookies
🍋 Iced Lemon Cookies
🩷 Lactation Cookies for the mamas
🍫 Chocolate Chip Fudge Brownies
⭐️ I also have handmade seasonings, homemade granola, chicken pens & egg shells at the stand.

Y’all bear with me because I’ve got SO much more just about ready to go 😉🔥

🍞 Bread loaves are bagged
🇺🇸 Family-size Memorial Day cookie trays are packaged
🍪 White Chocolate Doodle Cookies are boxed
🤤 Oatmeal Cream Pies are boxed
✨ And cinnamon rolls are finishing up now!

BUTTTT… your girl ran out of labels because my label order still hasn’t arrived 😅📦 so I’m over here making spreadsheets, printing labels, and cutting every single one out by hand 😂✂️

As soon as I get these labels finished and on everything, the rest of the goodies will be heading out to the stand 😉🩵

Alrighty y’all 😅🩵

Today I was able to get ALMOST everything finished while also tackling some house chores in between all the baking chaos 😂🍪

In the morning I just need to:
✨ Print labels for a few more goodies
🦌 Let the second batch of jerky finish dehydrating
(I made 3 flavors: Original Smoked, Cajun & Lemon Pepper) 😍
🤤 Ice the cinnamon rolls
🍞 Bag up the bread

Then everything will officially be ready to hit the stand 😉🔥

I’m finally calling it a night at 3 AM 😵‍💫 but I’ll be back up bright and early to finish those last few things AND add a couple more new goodies to the lineup too 👀😍

Y’all better get ready… because these goodies are NOT gonna sit at the stand long 💨🍪🩵
