It’s a beautiful day to shop local and support your favorite family farmstand! 🩵🥰

And honey… the kitchen has been BUSY! 🔥😍

A huge thank you to my bestie, Angel ❤️, who was in the kitchen with me until 3 AM getting everything prepped and ready. And now here we are again at 7:30 AM finishing it all up so we can bring y’all the freshest homemade goodies possible! 🥹🙌🏼

🩵 A Little Life Update 🩵

These past few weeks have been a whirlwind, but today was the kind of hectic that comes with answered prayers. 🥹🙏🏼
One thing is for sure, our sweet girl was so so happy to be able to see her pawpaw and love on him again. First thing she did when we got back home like always is hop in his lap to eat some pudding. 🥰
He just smiled when he walked in and said “Wow this is the cleanest my house has been in a while” 🩵

I’ve been running in a hundred different directions making sure my husband, my daughter, and my pawpaw all have what they need. And while knowing my pawpaw is coming home brings so much relief, it also comes with a few new worries as we help him adjust to being back home. ❤️

He’s determined to give living at home a try, and we’re doing everything we can to help set him up for success. We’ve set up reminders for his medications and appointments, added safety measures that will alert us and emergency services if he falls, and rearranged furniture so he can move around more easily with his walker.

With the help of my husband and my best friend, Angel, we also deep cleaned his home from top to bottom. Since he’s quit smoking, we wanted him to come home to a fresh, clean house and a fresh start. 🥹🩵

Please continue to keep my pawpaw in your prayers. He means the world to me, and we’re praying every day that he continues to grow stronger and stronger. 🙏🏼❤️

And to my sweet farmstand family, thank you for your patience this week. I’ve had a little less time in the kitchen than usual, but I promise I’m making up for it! 😉

🥚✨ EGG-citing News from the Homestead! ✨🥚

Y’all… I just came in from gathering eggs and collected 42 farm-fresh butt nuggets! 😍🥚 With our teenage hens now laying and our younger girls not far behind, that means even MORE fresh eggs for the stand! 🐔🩷 We have 82 chickens total, and yes… every single one has a name and is spoiled rotten. Around here, our animals are family. Paislynne gives them treats daily, and our piggies, Johnny & June 🐷, are getting bigger every day and have finally learned that belly rubs and snacks are pretty great. 🥰

🩵 Pawpaw Update: 🩵

Many of y’all have been praying for my pawpaw, and I wanted to share some wonderful news. After suffering a brain stem stroke and then battling COVID while in the hospital, he is doing SO much better. 🙌🏼❤️

His speech has improved tremendously, he’s gaining strength every day, walking more, and requiring much less oxygen than before. On top of all that, he has officially quit smoking ci******es after many years. 🥹👏🏼

And the best news of all… PAWPAW IS COMING HOME THURSDAY!! 🎉🙌🏼❤️

Last night, my best friend and I were at his house until after midnight deep cleaning and getting everything ready for him. Since he’s committed to quitting smoking, I wanted to do my best to help remove years of ni****ne smell and make sure he comes home to a fresh, clean house that’s ready for this new chapter. 🥹🩵

God has been so good to our family through all of this, and we are beyond thankful for every prayer, message, and kind word y’all have sent. ❤️

Now today, after my sweet girl’s swimming lesson, it’s back to the kitchen for me! 🍪🍞🧁 More homemade goodies will be heading to the stand, and I’d love to know what y’all want to see this week. 👀✨

☀️🩷 Goodmorning & Happy Sunday, Farmstand Family! 🩷☀️

First, I owe y’all an apology 😅🫣

Yesterday afternoon, after prepping a few things and waiting on the jerky to finish up, I sat down for “just a minute”… and completely fell asleep 😂💤 Baking until 4:30 am and then waking up at 7:30 made me crash!

Your girl was EXHAUSTED! 😅❤️‍🩹

But don’t worry—I’m back at it today and still have plenty of goodies coming your way! 😉🔥

Watching this dream come to life is such a blessing. I’m so thankful because this little country store will allow me to serve our community in bigger ways, offer even more homemade goodies, and help provide for my family even more while doing something I truly love 🥹🩵

Just a little farmstand update 😉👇

I’m inside finishing up homemade pretzels 🥨 and working on something special that I can’t wait to share with y’all 👀😍

🦌 Deer jerky is almost done and should be ready shortly, and I’m working on cobblers now too 🍑🍎🔥

So don’t worry… I’m definitely not done yet 😉💨

We still have plenty of goodies out at the stand, and behind the scenes my dad and hubby are working their tails off on the new Country Store Farmstand 🏡🔨❤️

Our goal is to have it finished and ready to open in time for our ONE YEAR anniversary of serving this amazing community, which is only a few weeks away 🥹🎉🩵

Today I’m feeling especially thankful for my husband and my dad. Watching them work so hard to help bring this dream of mine to life means more than I can put into words ❤️🥹
