🌼💀🍞 WHAT IS PAN DE MU**TO? 🍞💀🌼

For those who may not know, Pan de Mu**to is a traditional Mexican sweet bread made especially for Día de los Mu**tos (Day of the Dead), a beautiful Mexican tradition celebrated on November 1st and 2nd. 🇲🇽❤️

This special bread is made to honor and remember our loved ones who are no longer with us. Families often place it on their ofrendas (altars), along with flowers, candles, pictures, and other meaningful items, as a way to welcome and remember the souls of their loved ones. 🕯️🌼❤️

Traditional Pan de Mu**to is soft, slightly sweet, and often flavored with orange zest or orange blossom. The dough decorations on top represent bones, and the little round piece in the center is often said to symbolize a skull. 💀🍞

For many Mexican families, this bread represents love, remembrance, and the beautiful connection between life and death. ❤️🇲🇽

Solo quiero tomarme un momento para decirles GRACIAS DE TODO CORAZÓN a todas las personas que nos han estado mandando mensajes desde que cerramos nuestro negocio. ❤️

Todavía recibo mensajes de personas que nos dicen cuánto nos extrañan, y también me he encontrado con muchos de ustedes en la calle. Algunos se acercan a saludarnos y a preguntarnos si algún día vamos a volver a abrir. La verdad, ha habido ocasiones en las que no he reconocido a algunas personas, ¡y les pido una disculpa por eso! 🥹❤️

Pero cada vez que alguien nos manda un mensaje, se acerca a saludarnos o nos pregunta si vamos a regresar, me hace pensar que, aunque nuestro negocio estuvo abierto por muy poco tiempo, algo bueno debimos haber hecho.

No se imaginan lo bonito que se siente saber que todavía hay personas que piensan en nosotros y que extrañan lo que teníamos. Todos sus mensajes, sus palabras bonitas y todo el cariño que nos siguen demostrando significan mucho más de lo que se imaginan.

De todo corazón, ¡GRACIAS por habernos apoyado y por no olvidarse de nosotros! ❤️🥹 Apreciamos a cada uno de ustedes más de lo que las palabras pueden expresar. ❤️

I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who has been messaging us ever since we closed our business. ❤️

I still get messages from people telling us how much they miss us, and I’ve even bumped into so many of you out in public. Some of you stop to say hi and ask if we’re ever going to reopen. Honestly, there have been a few times when I didn’t recognize, and I’m sorry! 🥹❤️

But every time someone reaches out, says hi, or asks if we’re coming back, it reminds me that even though our business was open for such a short time, we must have done something right.

You have no idea how good it feels to know that people still think about us and miss what we had. All the messages, the kind words, and the love you continue to show us mean more than you know.
