Some good news some bad news.

Fortunately all our birds made it besides some small baby chickens, we are so grateful for that.
Bad news, well, we have a lot of cleaning up and repairing to do. I think we were one of the lucky ones, but we are safe, family is safe, and neighbors are safe. Please pray hard for Taylor county and all the surrounding areas as we do our best to move forward.

As we watch this storm heading towards our farm we are praying very hard for our community. Perry has truly been battered these last 13 months, but we will always rebuild and our community will always be strong. We need all the prayers you can send especially for the big bend area. Thank you everyone for the support these last couple of months and we hope to come back stronger than ever.

Our little wry tail chicken, we noticed this birth defect at around 8-10 weeks old, nothing but cosmetic and she is a consistent layer and forages all day long with no problems. We won't be hatching out her eggs as we don't want to pass down the condition, but she is living such a happy life!
