We sell our own grain finished beef, pork and eggs. Grown right here on our home farm of 200 acres. The farm has been in our family since 1902.

We have been raising beef cattle for more than 12 years. We primarily sold cattle by halves or wholes but in January of 2020 we opened our retail store and started selling by individual cuts as well. We also have our own pork, eggs, and corn for deer as well as local honey, pierogies, ice cream, and seasonings. Payment methods: Cash, check, credit cards

If you plan to visit us tomorrow, Wednesday October 14th, you will have to come to us from Rickert road direction. They are going to have the road closed from our lower driveway to Callowhill.
So even if there are road closed signs up WE ARE STILL OPEN!

Where our sweet corn grew this summer is now planted with rye. The rye is going to protect and improve the health of the soil over the winter. In the spring some of these rye fields will be grazed and some of it will be chopped and stored away to feed our mommas through the winter. And then sweet corn will be planted again!!

Couldn’t resist sharing some of our fall cows and their cute babies.

Is it really October already!?!?
New month means new deal and package.

Fresh load of ice cream just came in today and there’s a new fall flavor to try. Apple cream cheese pie, it will be available for a limited time so enjoy it while you can.

Also a reminder our summer hours have come to an end so we are no longer open on Mondays.

1 last box of plum tomatoes for the season. 13 lbs for $10. Contact us to claim it.

Rest of the tomatoes are still going strong but the season will be coming to an end soon so enjoy fresh tomatoes while you still can!!!

The rainy weekend ahead calls for some beef in the crock pot, beef vegetable soup, beef stew, beef pot roast. The options are endless and truly the best kind of meal on a rainy chilly day.

The start to our fall calving has been tough, so we are extra thankful for this girl that was born last night. And she’s another red one that will stand out amongst the rest.

Our fall calving was due to start this weekend but about four weeks ago we had a momma who had ongoing health issues go into labor. We had been working with our vet to treat her condition and try to keep her comfortable for the remainder of her pregnancy. Unfortunately she still went into labor early due to her declining health and the stress of it all and her calf was stillborn.

Then Friday night at feeding time we noticed a cow looking like she was going into labor. We kept an eye on her and realized her labor wasn’t progressing and she had an abnormal presentation. We checked her and determined her calf was not in the proper position for a successful delivery. Since we are not experienced enough in correcting the positioning we had an emergency vet come to help reposition the calf and help her deliver. Her calf was stillborn as well.

We are praying that is the last of our heartbreaks and that the rest of our mommas have smooth deliveries with healthy and strong calves. Times like these really weigh heavy on the heart and reminds us we are not the ones in control of all things.
