Agnes Restaurant & Cheesery Agnes is a restaurant & cheesery in Pasadena, CA from chef/owners Vanessa & Thomas Tilaka Kalb.

Rooted in classic American regional cooking, the menu takes an honest and elevated approach on nostalgia and comfort. The cheesery showcases cut-to-order cheeses, an array of related provisions, takeaway wines by the bottle and mid-day sandwich/salad offerings. Named after Kalb’s maternal grandmother, Agnes has full-service lunch and dinner Tues - Sat. Located in the historic district of tree-lined Green Street, the restaurant is housed in the former horse stable of the Fire Department with indoor/outdoor seating.

A little art appreciation at Agnes! 🎨We’re excited to showcase three beautiful works by Pasadena-based artist Marcus Gonzalo Bañuelos marcus bañuelos

Originally from Long Beach, Marcus is a painter and educator whose work explores themes of home, family, and identity. A two-time recipient of The Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant, he has exhibited throughout Southern California and the East Coast and currently teaches at Cal State Fullerton. Next time you’re in, take a moment to admire his work throughout the restaurant!

Club sandwiches are always a good idea. 🥪✨ Our Crispy Chicken Club is stacked with Whitney cheese, crispy chicken cutlet, bacon, avocado, heirloom tomatoes, mayo, and housemade sourdough.
