COVE BOY TOURNAMENT 2026! 🎣💙

What an unforgettable day for our Cove Boy family. Today, we came together to honor the life and legacy of Fred Womack, and because of the generosity and support of so many amazing people, we raised over $16,000 for Anchorage Children’s Home in his name.

Fred meant so much to all of us, and while he is deeply missed, his impact continues to bring people together and make a difference in the lives of others. The Womack family has always been a huge part of this Cove Boy family, and we are honored to celebrate Fred’s memory in a way that reflects the kind of person he was.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, fished, and supported this event. Thank you to No Name Lounge & Bayside Bistro for hosting this year and being apart of this cove boy family! We are especially proud of this next generation of Cove Boys who stepped up and put together an incredible tournament this year. Your hard work, dedication, and love for this tradition truly showed.

Today wasn’t just about fishing—it was about family, friendship, community, and honoring a man who meant so much to so many. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special. We hope you had as much fun as we did.

We’ll miss Fred forever, but today proved that his legacy will continue to live on through all of us.

What a great Captains Meeting tonight! Thank you to everyone who came out and signed up to fish tomorrow. We can’t wait to see everyone out on the water!

Today is the day—Tournament Weekend is finally here!

We hope you'll join us tonight at 6:00 PM at No Name Lounge for the Captain's Meeting. This is your opportunity to sign up to fish, purchase tournament shirts, and get your raffle tickets. Please remember to bring cash, as we do not accept credit or debit cards. An ATM is available at No Name Lounge for your convenience.

This year is especially meaningful as we welcome the next generation of Cove Boys to carry on this incredible tradition. The kids have stepped up and taken the lead in organizing and putting on this year's tournament, continuing the legacy that has made this event so special for so many years. We are proud to see them honoring the values of family, friendship, and community that the Cove Boys have always represented.

For those participating in the tournament on Saturday, all boats must return by 1:00 PM. Check-ins will close promptly at 2:00 PM, and no additional weigh-ins will be accepted after that time. Official weigh-ins will begin at 3:00 PM, followed by our raffle drawings at 4:00 PM.

This year, all raffle proceeds will benefit Anchorage Children's Home in memory of Fred Womack. Fred was a beloved member of the Cove Boys family, one of the tournament's biggest supporters, and a dedicated advocate for Anchorage Children's Home. We are honored to continue supporting a cause that meant so much to him and to keep his spirit alive through this event.

We have some incredible raffle prizes lined up, so be sure to grab your tickets and support a wonderful cause. Most importantly, come enjoy a great weekend filled with fishing, friendship, laughter, and the amazing community that makes the Cove Boys family so special.

As one generation passes the torch to the next, we are reminded that the Cove Boys are more than a fishing tournament—they are a family and a tradition that continues to grow stronger with each passing year.

Here Fishy Fishy!🎣 Come out to the No Name and Bistro this Saturday, June 6th for the 26th Annual Invitational Weigh-ins! We have lots of cool stuff up for grabs in the raffle! All raffle proceeds will be donated to Anchorage Children’s Home in honor of our beloved cove boy Fred Womack! 🌊❤️

The Cove Boys are saddened to hear of the passing of Fred Womack, a fellow Cove Boy and true friend. We send our condolences and prayers to all those impacted, especially his beautiful wife, Bethany.

Fred embodied what it means to live fully — loving his family fiercely, working hard, staying humble, and always showing up for his friends. Whether on the water boating, fishing, or enjoying island time, he found joy in the simple things.

He was a wonderful husband, proud father, mentor, coach, and true friend to many. His legacy will live on in the lives he touched. His support of our fishing tournament was unwavering and impactful. He will be truly missed.

We want to thank everyone for coming out to our tournament this year. We had some great fishing, a reunion of friends, and we were able to pour our love and blessings into the family of a the strongest warrior we know, Kali Marshall. Through raffles and huge, kind donations we hope we have lessened the burden of all it entails to get through the rigorous treatment their family is facing. Every year we see selfless giving from our Cove Boy family…. With a whole lot of fun involved in the process, and we couldn’t be more thankful and proud!
