Last week I had the honor of meeting David Stelzer, owner of Azure Standard. He wanted me to take him to our field, where he grabbed a handful of our soil and took a big ol' sniff, even asking about certain elements he thought he smelled. Wow. And he was just in his glory doing that. He is so knowledgeable about farming, having 18 hoop houses while growing hundreds of acres of vegetables and grains in Oregon all while running a renowned and growing distribution company with integrity, focusing on organic and regenerative farming. Mad respect.
He's been coming to the Homestead Expo every year, sharing his products, knowledge and just getting to know his very devoted patrons. One thing I noticed with David is he asks a lot of questions and listens. Humbled to be able to show him one of our fields and our store, full of his product and loved by our customers. Here are some Azure products we carry and some new items just in today. What an incredible blessing that such a company exists, and to be able to partner with them.

Have you ever wondered what it takes to grow your own potatoes? 🥔 🌱 Join Jeff Smeenk, Director of Palmer Soil and Water Conservation District, as he guides us through the steps to successful potato gardening!
This opportunity includes approximately a 10' x 10' plot at Rebarchek Farm where registrants will manage and care for their plants during the growing season. Instructional hands-on gardening sessions will be provided by Jeff at important stages of plant care and growth. Each plot is anticipated to produce about 60+ pounds of potatoes at harvest.
📅 There are two session for this program available June 4th at 7:30pm and June 6, at 11am at Rebarchek Farm. At this class Jeff will go over the various types of potatoes and participants can choose which ones they would like to plant (seed potatoes provided). There is a $55 registration fee and the program is limited to 30 participants.
