Here is the farmstand lineup for this weekend! We have a few obligations around the farm to tend to today, so we will not be at the Osky Farmers Market until next Saturday. Feel free to swing out by the stand and grab some goodies until sundown!

That being said, I have TONS of vegetable starts that need to find their way to your garden! I will list some below and add more as I go through them today. If you are interested in any, send me a message and I can either put them out at the stand for you or work out a time to meet.

All plant starts are $2/each or 3/$5. 🌱

Thankful for the sun shining bright and warm today. 🌞 It's been a rough week around our farm.

We've had most of our birds for over a year now, and never had any problem with predators or any other outside factors. First we lost Elvis earlier this week, then Bowie the next day, 2 of our 3 Polish babies that we just got this spring and moved outside about 2 weeks ago. Then yesterday something got ahold of one of our ducks Nap and unfortunately she did not make it. Whatever it was tried to get Yap as well, but she fought them off and survived with just a gimp leg. 🥺💪

We have beefed up our coops, set some live traps, and are doing regular checks around the barns to make sure all of our babies are safe and sound. Things like this are bound to happen on the farm eventually no matter how much we do to prevent them, but it's never a fun day to lose an animal, let alone 3 in 1 week! 💔

We are SO excited to be back at the Oskaloosa Farmer's Market tomorrow morning from 9-12! We will have a few new items including PICKLES, PUMPKINS & GOURDS, BUTTERNUT SQUASH, AND HOUSEPLANT STARTS! We will also have some spooky macrame items and a few fresh produce items available as well(cherry tomatoes included😉). Come see us on your way to the What Cheer Flea Market as we have missed everyone! 🥰
