The Senior Center is a day time activity facility to enhance the quality of life for Seniors providi We offer a hot home cooked meal Monday through Thursday.

Please call by 8am the day of to reserve your meal. Lunch is a suggested donation of $6 for those 60 and over. For those 59 and under the meal price is $7. No senior will be turned away without a meal due to the inability to pay. Please call 360.893.5827 by 8:00am the day of to reserve your meal. We host a Senior food pantry to help supplement the cost of groceries. If you are in need of groceries call Dana at 360.893.5827 for more information.

As we head into severe weather season, the City of Orting and City of Puyallup Emergency Management teams will be visiting the Orting Senior Center to share basic preparedness tips and help residents sign up for Orting’s Emergency Alert System. These alerts make it easier to stay informed and safe when weather or conditions change quickly.

The deadline to place your order is quickly approaching! These items all make wonderful gifts and will make any home or office festive and beautiful! All proceeds go to support your local seniors, and we appreciate you all so much!

We are selling beautiful plants to help raise money for our programs. Plants are a great way to encourage our friends to get out into the garden while supporting a healthy fundraising event. Please check our website at Growing Smiles Fundraising for more information.

We are looking for volunteers!
The majority of our current pickup volunteers are seniors and have volunteered for years. We would like to give them a little break. If you are interested in volunteering, please stop by to fill out a volunteer form or call us with questions.

Just in time for the holidays!
We are now FULLY STAFFED!!!
We would like to expand our shuttle pickup area to include the outskirts of Orting.
We would like to include the following neighborhoods
Anglers Point/Deer Run
McMillin Meadows
The Buttes
Patterson (we will have to check to ensure your road and driveway will accommodate our shuttle)
If you are interested in joining us for lunch or activities, call Gina to sign up. We have scheduled pickup times, and Gina will review them with you.

We received a very generous donation of outdoor pillows and succulents from Lowe’s in Renton. Our seniors have grabbed what they want so now we will open it up to everyone!
Come on in and grab some cool stuff and make a donation to the Senior Center!

Hello, Orting Community!
The holidays are coming up fast, and we want to get a jump on it so we can give our seniors the best Thanksgiving and Christmas ever!
Every year, I get asked, "What do you need? How many do you need?' Those are a hard couple of questions to answer. I find it best for us if I just list what we plan to do for each and then let you all work your magic. I have been here at the Senior Center for 10 years, and every year you all amaze me with how much you love and support the seniors here.

If you would rather provide a monetary donation so we can shop in bulk, you can scan the QR code below or click the link below. Checks can be made out to Orting Senior Center and mailed to P.O. Box 104 Orting, WA 98360 or dropped off at 120 Washington Avenue North.
