One bad apple may not spoil the barrel, but it can spoil consumer confidence. That's why crisp, crunchy, good-tasting apples have always been the ultimate goal at Gee Whiz
In fact, few growers in Washington State, or anywhere else for that matter, have gone further to consistently deliver premium quality apples. Our ongoing internationally recognized support of research and development has result
ed in many innovations in the fruit-growing industry. Even with our progressive ways, some things at Gee Whiz never change. Like our passion for producing the world's best-tasting fruit. From planting to harvesting, from packing to shipping, we go far beyond "business as usual" in order to meet and exceed our customer's high expectations. For example, most growers pick their fruit once through and that's it. But apples do not ripen all at once, so we pick our trees over and over again, five or six times if necessary, harvesting each piece of fruit individually when it is perfectly ripe. Our goal is to provide fruit that is tree ripened for that just-picked taste. Only then will it get the Gee Whiz label.
