Quabbin Harvest was launched as the North Quabbin Community Co-operative in 2009 by a group of neighbors and friends in and around Orange. Building on the growing enthusiasm for locally-sourced foods and our area's long history of food production, the group started by selling weekly shares of fresh produce and then opened a small store with other products from the North Quabbin, central Massachuse

tts, the Connecticut River Valley, and beyond. Starting out in the Orange Innovation Center (originally the Minute Tapioca factory), the co-op expanded in 2014 to the former Workers Credit Union building in the center of town, owned by Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust. Mount Grace, like Quabbin Harvest, is committed to supporting local agriculture and helping to keep area farms in operation. Our store is run by a small and dedicated staff with help from members and volunteers who share the vision for a locally-owned food store. We accept SNAP/EBT and participate in the state's Healthy Incentives Program for low-income eaters. In 2018 we added a prepared foods division, crafting delicious and nourishing food to take out, with lots of local ingredients and flavors from around the world. We're proud to be creating jobs, circulating money in our local economy, and contributing the health of our community by providing good food for all. Everyone is welcome to shop at the store, and anyone can become a member-owner by making a one-time payment of $120 (payable in four quarterly installments).

Think good weather thoughts for this weekend and the 2026 Orange Solstice RiverFest!

We are only 17 days away from lighting up the night on June 27th! This year the committee has decided to dedicate this night of music, food, vendors, community and fun to Natasha Hanna as she will be missed during this year’s event!

We are FULL for craft vendors, still accepting applications for food vendors and hoping for a few more boats that want to show off during our boat parade! 🛶

What’s for supper? Could be your very own pan of yummy chicken and vegetable enchiladas, made fresh in our kitchen today by Katie and Gaige! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 Small (3) and large (7), choice of wheat or corn tortillas. 🌾🌽 Sooo good, and easy to bake at home whenever you’re ready. Remember we’re closed Friday for Juneteenth, but open Thursday till 7 and Saturday 9 to 5.
