Happy Labor Day!

With Labor Day comes the end to another wonderful season serving Ocean City.

A special thanks to all of our friends ,employees who worked extremely hard to make this summer such a success. Thank you to my children who put up with me and helped me out every time i needed help-I love you.

Most importantly, thank you to all of our loyal customers; without you, we wouldn't be here.

Thank you for all your wonderful memories of my Dad, and for the countless blessings and cards and flowers and the HUGS. I needed them so much to get through this.

I’m so blessed to have been raised by such a wonderful Mom and Dad..

We will reopen in May 2026. See you then!

To our loyal friends, neighbors, and customers:

Thank you for your patience and understanding as our family takes time to grieve the loss of our beloved grandfather and father, Joseph Berenato, who passed away on Tuesday.

Pop built more than just a deli — he created a place where people felt like part of our family.

We’ll begin reopening more consistently in the days ahead, but we kindly ask for continued patience as we move through his funeral services. Please note that we will be closed next Tuesday for the funeral.

Thank you again for being part of the community he loved so much.
