If you’ve never had taho or tofu pudding, let Joyce Tang of wow you. At a recent demo at , Joyce showed us how she makes this silky Filipino style pudding with fresh soymilk, sweet ginger syrup, arnibal, and chewy sago also known as tapioca pearls. It takes only 2 ingredients to make the tofu and can be done in 9 minutes!
Taho is served at Joyce’s Bay Area pastry shops, Bake Sum, and for good reason! As Joyce explains, “Ingredients are really important. For our croissants, we import cultured butter from France, and we use Hodo Soymilk because it’s quite honestly the best soymilk that you can buy. It's creamy and tastes just as good if not better than soymilk that I've made at home with my mom.
Joyce’s new cookbook, Bake Sum, features recipes for beloved Asian American pastries and sweets. Try Joyce’s taho for yourself at Bake Sum, or make it at home! Pick up the Bake Sum cookbook at the link in our bio.
