Oakland Noodle Company Just like grandma's No job is too big or too small for us to handle. Todd Ethington, son of "Happy," began helping in the family bakery business at age 11.

As a family owned and operated business, we started making noodles in 1981 in our bakery and then in 1991 we closed down the bakery and formed the Oakland Noodle Company. We provide residents of Oakland Illinois and the surrounding areas with a complete range of made-from-scratch, hand cut, homemade just-like-grandma's noodles. Our dedicated professionals have decades of experience and are trained

to provide you with the solutions you need – at the price you deserve. Owner, Clarence "Happy" Ethington, has been working in the bakery industry since 1956 specializing in made-from-scratch baked goods. Oakland Noodle Company currently services 80 grocery stores, meat stores, and restaurants with our deliveries, and with our distributors we cover an additional 150 grocery stores, butcher shops, catering businesses and restaurants. We are unique because we hand cut our noodles with a 6-inch stainless steel chopper. Each noodle is between one-fourth and three-eighths inch wide, giving it the imperfect look of a homemade noodle. In today’s busy world, people like a product that reminds them of home cooked, homemade family dinners. We do the work so they can take all the credit!
