Senior Saturday! All seniors (65+) can get a free $5 token to spend on produce at the market! We're celebrating FiftyNorth Senior Center's 50th Anniversary in partnership with the Northfield Rotary Club. Greg Smith and Friends will be playing live music from 9-11am and Matt Arthur will play from 11am-1pm. And after the market, head over to FiftyNorth’s Family Festival until 3pm.

Sending a huge THANK YOU to FiftyNorth Senior Center members who have volunteered for nearly half of our POP Club booth slots this season. They are the friendly faces handing out the $5 kid produce tokens many Saturdays at the market.

Plus, through a perfect partnership between FiftyNorth Senior Center, Northfield Rotary Club, and Riverwalk Market Fair—we'll be distributing free $5 tokens to seniors (65+) to purchase produce at the market this Saturday, June 20! Spread the word!

School's out for summer! ☀️

We are officially declaring this Saturday KIDS DAY at Riverwalk Market Fair! Bring the whole family down for a morning packed with free treats, fun activities, and market magic.

Here is what we have lined up for the kiddos:

Free Ice Cream! 🍦 Our amazing Harvest Sponsor, T-Fiber (T-Mobile), will be passing out free ice cream.

Story Time 📚 The Northfield Public Library Minnesota is hosting a special story time starting at 10:45am.

POP Club Tokens 🥦 As always, kids can grab their Power of Produce (POP) Club $5 token to spend on their favorite fresh produce!

The Radish Hunt! 🔍 Keep your eyes peeled—find the hidden stuffed radish around the market and you'll win $10 to spend at any booth!

Fountain Wishes 🪙 Pick out a lucky penny and make a wish in the fountain.

Incredible Vendors 🎈 Stroll through our vendor booths and find delicious baked goods, hot dogs, balloon animals, stickers, fidgets, jewelry, and even some good jokes.

We are incredibly grateful to the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation (SMIF) for helping us support our local farmers! 🚜

Through their generous grant, we’ve been able to provide vendor fee discounts to many of our farmer vendors. Farming is a labor of love, but it also comes with massive uncertainties—from unpredictable weather to fluctuating market prices that are entirely out of our farmers' control. These scholarships make participating in the market much more accessible and sustainable.

When we support our farmers, we secure fresh, local food for our entire community. Thank you, SMIF, for lifting up our vendors and helping our market thrive! 🧑‍🌾

We are so grateful to Northfield Shares - Northfield MN Community Foundation for awarding us a grant to support our Farm to Families program! Thanks to their generous funding, we’ve already been able to donate 160 pounds of fresh produce to the Community Action Center - Northfield food shelf this summer!

Our Farm to Families program is a true win-win-win:

👩‍🌾 Supporting local farmers: At the end of each market, we purchase leftover produce from our vendors at a bulk rate, putting more well-deserved cash in their pockets.

🌱 Fighting food waste: Beautiful, nourishing food stays out of the compost and goes right where it’s needed most.

🥕 Feeding our neighbors: Families visiting the CAC food shelf get access to fresh, locally grown, and nutrient-dense produce.
