This is a great time to visit the farm!

Strawberry season is at its peak and the weather this week is perfect for pick your own strawberry picking. Our strawberry field is open for picking daily. The field should be open all Father's Day Weekend but please double check this page or call the store before coming out, especially during weekend which will likely be quite busy.

As the summer continues to progress we will gradually begin harvesting more of our own fruits and vegetables. Our greenhouse is continues to produce some beautiful tomatoes. Yesterday we picked the first zucchini squash of the season. Raspberries are not far behind. We also have loads of honey and applesauce. Check the updated sign in the photos for what we are currently picking.

Lastly, Flourstorm will be here Wednesday with a fresh batch of Sourdough and then again on Saturday and Sunday with Sourdough and Focaccia. Word on the street is that a new Bacon Cheddar Sourdough will be available for Father's Day.

Open all week from 9am to 6pm, with pick your own strawberries closing at 5.

Sourdough bread is back!

Please welcome Anu, along with her family, from the recently created Flourstorm Bakery. Anu is passionate about baking and we are excited that she is able to share her talents with us.

Anu will be at the farm Saturday morning beginning at 9 o'clock with samples of her sourdough loaves as well as focaccia, plain and everything bagels, and crackers for folks to sample and purchase.

Stop by, say hello, and help us give Anu a warm welcome while also sampling some delicious baked goods!

Follow up to yesterday's video with additional details regarding pick your own strawberries. It's going to be a hot few days, get out and enjoy; strawberry season will be over before you know it!

*PYO price is $5.99/lb. We have new, sturdy containers for sale at the store for $3 each or you may choose to bring your own container from home and use it at no cost. The containers that we sell can be re-used for future PYO events at the farm without any additional cost (other than the cost for the weight of the fruit that you pick). There is no entry fee to access the field.

*We will use the field directly across the road from North Smithfield Middle School (the same PYO location as the last two seasons). There is limited off-street parking on the field side of Providence Pike. Parking is also available at our store. The field is an easy 3-5 minute walk from the store on flat ground. Please be mindful of no parking signs along Providence Pike.

*Once finished picking, please return to the store for payment. Cash or credit/debit is accepted.

*The plan for now is to open for PYO through the weekend but that can change as conditions warrant. Check back to this page tomorrow or Saturday, or call the store directly, for further information.

*As always, we have plenty of pre-picked berries available in the store.

Strawberry picking is a fun family activity that gets you out of the house and gives you a chance to bring home fresh, local fruit that you yourself picked! After picking, please browse our farmstand to find other great local produce, honey, milk, eggs, and applesauce.

Exciting news as pick your own strawberries begins tomorrow at 9am. We'll send more detailed information in the morning but for now, here are the basics (or you can watch the video):

*Picking opens tomorrow, June 11th, at 9am
*Price is 5.99/lb. We have containers for purchase for $3 each or you can use your own clean container from home
*Please check in at the store before proceeding to the field.

Many people have been calling the store or writing to us about strawberries. While we have plenty of beautiful strawberries for sale in the store, pick your own is not quite yet ready to get rolling but should be ready late this weekend or early next week. Happy opening day for the 2026 produce season!

Our opening day coincides with a bit of a pickle for our friends up at Wright's Dairy Farm & Bakery (official site). Earlier this week a road closure on Woonsocket Hill Road cut the dairy off from anyone traveling from the Woonsocket, Union Village, Blackstone, etc areas. The road closure is making it a challenge for many customers to easily access the dairy.

We are not dairy farming experts but we're pretty sure that all those cows won't stop producing milk just because of a busted culvert under the road and all that milk still needs somewhere to go. You can help out by traveling around to the other side of Woonsocket Hill Road - following the blue and yellow route on the map - and accessing the dairy from the south (we know that you are from Rhode Island and don't like to drive more than a few minutes out of your way but it's not a bad trip, really!). If you absolutely can't make it to the dairy, our store is located at the end of the blue route, right across from North Smithfield High School and Middle School. We are well stocked with a full lineup of milk and cheese and new for 2026 fresh muffins, breads, and eclairs which were delivered to us fresh this morning. Wright's milk is unmatched in quality and freshness, going from the cow to the bottle in 24 hours. It is exceptionally creamy, has a long shelf life, and is never mixed with milk from multiple farms!

As we kick off another produce season, we encourage everyone to support our friends at Wright's Dairy. Thank you for supporting local agriculture, and we look forward to seeing you throughout the 2026 season!

We are very happy to announce that our opening day for the 2026 produce season will be this Saturday, May 30, at 9am.

Beginning Saturday the farm will be open daily from 9am to 6pm except closing at 5 o'clock on Sundays through Sunday October 31.

Along with our usual fruit and vegetables, we anticipate being well stocked with beautiful hanging and potted flower arrangements, eggs, honey, milk, and cheese and, yes, even a few strawberries and tomatoes.

It has taken a great deal of work from ourselves and the rest of the team to get to this point in the season but now we can look forward to sharing our efforts with you. See you soon!

There is nothing like grabbing the first few ripe strawberries of the spring (and striking a pose amongst the blooms) after a warm sunny day!

Our opening day is getting closer as strawberry season continues to progress with the goal being to open sometime just after Memorial Day weekend.
