This week, because of the kindness of an amazing member of our village, a family who was struggling to keep their electric on was able to have their bill paid. No fanfare. No spotlight. Just one neighbor helping another.
That's what community does.
When we say it takes a village, we mean it. A village makes sure our children are fed, clothed, loved, guided, and shown what respect and compassion look like through action, not words.
Today, our Pay It Forward wall is down to just TWO tickets. Two opportunities left before someone facing a hard day walks in and finds an empty wall instead of a helping hand.

Happy Friday! We are cooking up some delicious goodies for you all today and cannot wait to see you all. REMINDER - tomorrow is graduation and you all have met our wonderful helpers up front who have worked so hard this year, not only here but also in school. Due to all of them graduating tomorrow, we will be CLOSED Saturday May 30th to watch them get their diploma! Big congrats to our graduates! We will reopen usual business hours on Sunday. 🎓
