We take pride in providing local small batch honey to the Lincoln and Omaha area. Our mission is to preserve the essence of every flower the bees visit. We do this by harvesting small batches several times a season, cold processing, and packaging in glass bottles.

It’s a beekeeper’s life. After three weeks of cool and rainy weather the bees are flying looking for the last of the nectar and pollen available this season. Today, I’m checking colony weight and feeding with supplemental nectar and pollen.

Hey there Farmers Market of Gretna. It’s hard to believe this is the last market of the season. Where did the summer go? Country Road Bees has a larger than desirable stock of Spring Delight honey so for Saturday only, buy one jar and receive half off the second jar, equal size or smaller. See you Saturday!

Hey there Schuyler Farmers Market. It’s hard to believe this is the last market until next spring. We are going into winter with a larger than desired honey inventory so today only buy one jar of Spring delight and get half off the second jar. Jug-O-Honey will be there and I will fill YOUR jar for $5/pound. This applies only to pint, quart, or half gallon canning jars such as Kerr or Ball.

If I don’t see you tonight, have a terrific Fall and winter.

Hey everyone. It’s my 64th birthday eve day and I’m where I love being on a Saturday morning, the Farmers Market of Gretna! Doors open at 8. It’s one of those perfect late August mornings, not yet the brisk mornings of Fall but no longer the heat of Summer.
