t is with great sadness that I need to confirm what most have already heard that my husband and life love Dwayne Phelps is gone on to his next act. His soul is free now and he is no longer in pain. He has left behind a lot of heart ache, questions and pain to those who loved him and there are so many who love him dearly. I am not quite sure Dwayne ever realized the role he played in so many lives over the years whether it was in his family, his past coworkers, friends or acquaintances he met along the way. How does this world continue for me or his loved ones now that we don’t have Dwayne.? All I know is he would want us all to thrive and move forward. Dwayne had physical pain and darkness that only a few knew about or understood. He kept those buried. I had hoped that he had found peace here in TN from those demons. I had believed it was here with his gardens and surrounding nature. He would go outside daily and thank the universe for his blessings and the beauty. He loved the birds and fed them almost daily to keep up with their demand. His smile was beautiful and his humor? Well you had to understand it to get the best of it! have been looking for signs and there have been some. We had 2 Bald eagle 🦅 sightings within the last few days and I thought maybe he is souring through the skies looking down full of wisdom and with a connection to the divine. That was Dwayne. He was always seeking knowledge and truth. He always said a good day was when he learned something. We will host a gathering to celebrate Dwayne’s life at the Bangor Vol. Fire and EMS. 2265 ST Route 11 North Bangor NY 12966. Saturday July the 13th at 11am. All are welcome.
