The post we’ve been dreading to make all
summer….

Sweet corn season is over!!!

We thought we had corn planted to
last us through maybe early October, but due to storms, wind, and erratic temperature swings, the corn fields were not as productive as we’d have hoped.

We thank our great and loyal customers for a great season and look forward to seeing you this fall for Halloween decorations as well as our year ‘round stuff. Local honey, homemade maple syrup, straw, birdseed, deer corn, and firewood.

we had hoped to announce today we would be having mums this fall and were all set to leave to get them when our supplier text us and said he oversold and couldn’t fulfill our order. couple that with the slow ripening sweet corn and the rain keeping us out of the pumpkin field, today was a less than productive day.
