Along with @bryandmayer we discussed some pointers and questions you the consumer can ask at the #butchercounter to make your experience a little more transparent. Another successful passed pig test! Passing down our knowledge and skills to the next generation is one of our biggest joys at H&C. We feel it is our duty to guide those who want to learn. It is not just about #butchering as @dekkomillsmusic can attest to. It’s also learning the art of #valueaddedproducts. Dekko has filled his share of broth containers and has pinted up countless #bolognese and #sloppyjoes. As he continues on to learn #beef #butchery, Dekko will continue our teach down method of education and pass down his knowledge of pig butchering to our newest apprentices @0liverprince @harlesgreene_ Looking forward to seeing you all evolve and grow into great #wholeanimal #butchers.

It’s been a while since we have updated the on going lack of transparency at @belcampomeatco. We felt the need to keep [email protected] you updated. Repost from @bryandmayer It's been almost two months since @belcampomeatco fraud has been exposed. And while their internal investigation along with a host of compensated social media influencers has seemingly cleared them from any wrongdoing, it's back to business as usual for @anyafernald, @westernag_james , and the rest of their leadership. But it's not that simple. And it's why they need to be held accountable. I know we, I keep saying this. But here's the thing, besides the obvious reasons, legally (fraudulently selling non-organic products as organic), ethically (selling mislabeled products to people that choose to eat a certain way for health reasons), they have set our industry back decades. While BC apologizes to its customers, issues refunds, and launches an extensive PR campaign, many of us in the good meat world are left to deal with the aftermath. We don't have the backing of a billionaire or legions of influencers. We are left to clean up their mess. And we will. BC's fraud has exposed an underbelly of the good meat movement, where ego, risk of failure, and incredible pressures to succeed can cloud the very reasons why most of us entered this industry. We can continue to make this industry what we want and need, with honesty, integrity & transparency. Let's lift each other up. #pride. That word has so many implications. As a #gay and #q***r owned business and as a gay married couple running 2 businesses pride month means so many things to us. I (j fox) came out in high school in the mid 1990’s. I was accepted for the the most part. Kevin’s story is similar. But we both struggled in our corporate careers for acceptance, Kevin in #hollywood and I in the #arts. We both love seeing the progression of the fight for our rights that the next generation is struggling to maintain. Continue our fight ! Because it is still a struggle. It is not over. There have been 250 anti #lgbtq laws passed in the country this year. We are still considered unequal and unworthy of equal protection. We stand with #blacklivesmatter We stand with #blacktranslivesmatter. #solidarity is how things are changed. And we see you. And I know you all see us. We are one.

My husband an I finally got to experience the Dinette last night and all I can say is that it was worth the wait! OMG. As is true of the shop, everything is fresh fresh fresh. The classic burger was HUGE and the caramelized onions made it all come together. (I’m drooling just reminiscing). OK let’s talk about the French fries. Let’s just say, don’t leave without having some. Go nuts and use the malt aoli. Totally divine. You can tell that they worked very hard at their taste combinations. Simply fantastic. Staff was incredibly friendly. What a special treat for the neighborhood. Walk off homerun to Jay, Kevin and the staff!
