House of Prime Rib, SF CA — a classic. 🥩🔥

And honestly, this is one of those plates where you don’t need a trendy garnish, a smoke show, or some overcomplicated steakhouse drama. Just a giant slice of prime rib, au jus doing what au jus was born to do, creamed spinach sitting there like the required side quest, and that old-school steakhouse energy that makes you understand why people keep coming back. 😭👀

That pink center, that thick cut, that bone on the plate… come on. This is not a “try it once” meal. This is the kind of dinner people talk about like a family tradition, then immediately start arguing over whether they should’ve ordered a bigger cut. 💀🥴

And of course somebody’s gonna say it’s too rare, somebody else is gonna say it’s perfect, and one person is definitely judging the creamed spinach like it didn’t earn its spot. Meanwhile I’m looking at this plate like… if classic prime rib looks this good, don’t fix what isn’t broken. 🔥🥩

Be honest… are y’all going straight for the prime rib, or is the creamed spinach secretly the real reason people love House of Prime Rib? 😭🍽️🥩

😭😭Everyone kept saying “your prime rib would be better cooked more”… and then you sliced it and just let the plate speak for itself 😭🥩🔥

Because that’s the funny part about prime rib — people love to *talk doneness theory* until they see a crust like that and suddenly go quiet 👀

That kind of sear with a juicy center is exactly the line where it stops being “undercooked debate” and starts being “oh… this is actually really good” 💀

And let’s be real — “never better though” hits different because that means you cooked it exactly how *you* wanted it, not how the crowd in your kitchen thought it should look 🥴🔥

At the end of the day, if the crust is dialed, the center is juicy, and you’re not fighting your own knife… that’s a win, not a compromise 🥩

So I gotta know — were the critics still talking after they tried it, or did the plate shut everyone up?? 😭🔥

😭😭Just had the BEST prime rib of my life at T-BONES in Laconia, NH 😭🥩🔥

This is one of those meals where you take one bite and immediately know nothing else that day is going to top it 👀

Prime rib cooked to its true glory — that’s the exact phrase people use when the knife slides in like butter and the center is still juicy, tender, and absolutely dialed 🤤🔥

And when a restaurant nails it like that, it doesn’t even feel like “ordering dinner”… it feels like you accidentally upgraded your entire week 💀

But now I need the details — was it the crust, the doneness, or just the overall melt-in-your-mouth situation that put this one at #1 all time?? 😭🥩

"When you need a guaranteed hit… Texas Roadhouse never disappoints 🥩🔥👌. Juicy prime rib, au jus for dipping, and a loaded baked potato — basically comfort food goals 🤤🤤✨.

🥩🥩This spot on Oahu has people lining up daily and selling out prime rib like it’s a limited sneaker drop 😭🥩🌴
Finally tried it and honestly… it was good, but I kept sitting there comparing it to House of Prime Rib in San Francisco and it just wasn’t hitting the same 😮‍💨
The cook looks solid, definitely rare-to-medium rare, but for all the hype I expected a life-changing bite and instead got “yeah this is decent” energy 💀
Maybe I’m spoiled now because once you’ve had elite prime rib, regular “famous” prime rib starts feeling overrated fast.
So now I gotta know… where’s the BEST prime rib y’all have ever had? 👀🔥

😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨14 oz prime rib from The Keg and honestly… this thing looks like somebody understood the assignment 😮‍💨🥩🔥

That center is sitting perfectly pink, the fat looks buttery, and they barely left any gray banding at all 💀 Plus they didn’t skimp on the essentials either — garlic mash, mushrooms, au jus, AND horseradish? Yeah this is a dangerous plate 😭🍽️

Prime rib is one of those cuts where when it’s done right, it almost doesn’t even feel like steak anymore. The texture gets ridiculously tender and every bite just melts apart 👀🔥

Of course the comments are always funny because half the people are about to say “perfect medium rare” while the other half are clutching pearls because the meat still has color 😂🥴

Meanwhile I’m just trying to figure out how anybody stops after one slice of this thing 🍖🔥

Rate this plate 1–10 👀🥩

🥩🥩🥩Stopped by Costco and couldn’t pass these up 🔥🥩 Picked up this beautiful pack of USDA Prime New York strips for $79 and the marbling on these steaks is absolutely insane 👀💯 Thick cut, loaded with intramuscular fat, and exactly the kind of steaks that make you start planning grill night before you even leave the parking lot 😂

For the price, this is hard to beat. Five gorgeous Prime NY strips with steakhouse-level marbling just waiting to hit the grill, cast iron, or smoker. Costco seriously stays winning when it comes to beef quality 🙌 Already thinking simple seasoning, hot sear, medium rare, and letting that beef flavor shine 🤤🔥🍽️

Who else raids Costco for steaks like this? 🛒🥩🔥

😅😅😅Ribs are looking good so far using the 9-5-2 beers method. 😅🔥

Not sure if it’s an official BBQ technique or just a long weekend excuse to keep checking the smoker, but I’m not mad at the results yet. Smoke is rolling, ribs are coming along, and the beer count is part of the process… allegedly. 🍻🐖

Hope all my Memorial Day weekend BBQ homies are eating good, relaxing hard, and keeping the pits fired up. 🇺🇸🔥

🥩🥩Posted recently about a bistro filet I picked up at Harris Ranch in Central CA, and I finally got to try it. 🥩🔥

Honestly, it had a texture pretty close to filet, but with a much beefier flavor. Definitely more fibrous than a true filet, so it’s not quite that same buttery-soft bite, but it was still really good and had a ton of flavor. 🧈🧈🧈

😭😭😭Texas Roadhouse must’ve had somebody’s grandma back there supervising the kitchen tonight because this prime rib came out absolutely DIALED IN 🤠🔥🥩

Look at that thing 😭
Perfect crust on the outside, juicy edge-to-edge pink center, and tender enough to cut with a dirty look. They brought the au jus out on the side and every bite somehow got even better once it soaked in a little.

And can we talk about how a meal instantly becomes elite the second those fresh rolls and cinnamon butter hit the table? 😂🧈🍞
Because I swear half the battle at Texas Roadhouse is trying not to fill up before the actual food even arrives.

Then they throw in the loaded sweet potato sitting there looking like dessert pretending to be a side dish 🍠💀

People love clowning chain restaurants like they can never compete with steakhouse spots, but every once in a while they absolutely lock in and remind everybody why they stay packed. Tonight was definitely one of those nights 🙌🔥

Prime rib cooked perfectly.
Flavor was ridiculous.
Tender the whole way through.
No complaints anywhere on this plate.

Be honest… when Texas Roadhouse gets it right, is there honestly a better chain steak dinner for the money? 👀🥩😭😭

😭😭Ordered the 16 oz prime rib at my favorite spot tonight and I swear this thing showed up looking like it belonged in a steak commercial 😮‍💨🥩🔥

Look at that cut 😭
Massive cap, perfect crust around the edges, juicy pink center all the way through, and they dropped that melting butter right on top like they knew exactly what they were doing.

And the best part about prime rib is how different it hits compared to a regular steak. It’s not just tender… it’s that slow-roasted, melt-apart texture where every bite feels ridiculously rich once you dip it in the au jus 🤤🔥

Then they throw the loaded baked potato on the side packed with sour cream and suddenly you’re sitting there completely silent at the table because talking is interrupting the experience 💀🥔

This is exactly why I keep coming back to this restaurant too. Everybody has that one place where the food is consistently so good you stop experimenting and just order your favorite every single time 😂

And honestly? A properly cooked prime rib might be one of the hardest steakhouse meals to beat when it’s done right 🙌🥩

Be honest…
Are y’all choosing prime rib over a regular ribeye if both are on the menu? 👀🔥😭😭😭
