Keep the kiddos busy this summer!

Local Finds has an exciting series of Creative Kids classes scheduled for this summer! These classes are geared for kids ages 5 to 12. Held on Mondays from 10am to 11am, we have 9 classes being offered starting Monday June 1st thru Monday July 27th. Classes are $10 each.

Each class is taught by our local artist/artisan team. We even have a guest youth artisan leading one of the classes!

Our class line up includes:
- Monday June 1st: Gourd Birds
- Monday June 8th: Horseshoe Art
- Monday June 15th: Game Controller
- Monday June 22nd: Spin Painting
- Monday June 29th: Glass Mosaic
- Monday July 6th: Beaded Bracelets
- Monday July 13th: Painted Rocks
- Monday July 20th: Playdough
- Monday July 27th: Flower Art Class

The next Town of Carefree Art Night is Thursday March 19th from 4pm to 7pm. Stroll through Carefree's various galleries to explore some wonderful works of art from some very talented artists.

At Local Finds, we will be highlighting the charm jewelry and home accessory designs of Ashley with Sunshine Organics & Market Co.

Stop by to check out all of her charm jewelry, tea towels, wine charms, straw covers, candles and other home decor.

Light refreshments, including a sampling of Freeze Dried Sweet Heat Taffy candy from Jeanne with MyHoney's Honey will be served. Both ladies are represented within the Local Finds shop.

Local Finds is excited to welcome the Carefree Cookie Crawl on Sunday February 22nd from 11am to 4pm. This family-friendly, self guided event will take participants through some of the various shops along Easy Street, Spanish Village and more. Along one's adventures, you'll pick up a sweet treat at each of the designated shops on the Cookie Crawl map.

Tickets are $25 each and must be purchased online in advance by Saturday February 14th. Proceeds from the event benefit Foothills Animal Rescue, a Carefree based non-profit who's mission is to save the lives of homeless cats and dogs by rescuing, providing care for, and finding them forever homes.

Celebrate the month of Love in Carefree with through a sweet event benefiting a great non-profit and see for yourself all the small-town charm Carefree has to offer. Free parking is available around Town, and everyone is welcome to attend. So grab the girls, make this a mother/daughter adventure or even explore on your own. Register today for a fabulous afternoon of touring the beautiful Town of Carefree and their amazing shops, and even indulge in a bite to eat while here.
